[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] X1 Carbon has incredible Aura. Super fast, starts up quick, and is a joy to work on. I'm mostly limited to work use (attorney, small business owner) but this is absolutely the best Laptop I've ever had, and I've had about 12 Lenovos and Dells going back 25 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Aura is truly in a light league of its own so featherweight you’ll double-check your bag, yet so fast it practically finishes your thoughts before you type them. Its performance is pure Au-some, gliding through multitasking with carbon-fiber confidence, and its battery life lasts longer than most court sessions and coffee pots combined. Simply put, the Auro Carbon doesn’t just raise the bar, it lightens it, proving that true power doesn’t need extra pounds to make a heavy impression.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great computer. Slight oddities in the keyboard in that there's only one control key and compared to my Gen11 the control and function have switched (again).
Computer has been flawless since the start. Great machine. Hoping to get 10 full years!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the performance is very poor. cant handle a few tabs. not worth the price. just lightweight, thats it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 hasn’t met your expectations, especially regarding performance. We understand how important it is for a laptop to handle multitasking smoothly. Here are a few troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the issue.
1. Check for System Updates
Open Lenovo Vantage and install all recommended updates (BIOS, drivers, firmware). Also check Windows Update for any pending system or security updates.
2. Review Startup Programs
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Go to the Startup tab and disable unnecessary apps that launch at startup.
3. Monitor Resource Usage
In Task Manager, check the Processes tab to see if any app is using excessive CPU, RAM, or disk. End tasks that are consuming too many resources (only if you recognize them as safe to close).
4. Adjust Power Settings
Go to Settings > System > Power & Battery > Power Mode. Set it to Best Performance when plugged in.
5. Check for Malware or Background Apps
Run a full system scan using Windows Defender or a trusted antivirus. Use MSConfig (System Configuration) to identify and disable unnecessary background services.
6. Clear Temporary Files
Open Disk Cleanup or use Storage Sense in Windows settings to remove temporary files and free up space.
If the issue persists after following these steps, we recommend reaching out to our tech support team at 1-855-253-6686. We're committed to ensuring your satisfaction and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is great. It is fast but also very light. I don't love all of the forced AI features which don't seem to be helpful, but unfortunately it's a part of everything now.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th Lenovo. I always have a great experience buying Lenovo laptops. Never have any issues.
