This is my 3rd ASUS over more than 7 years. (I dropped my first one and broke the 11.4" touch screen) Purchased this one because of the reliability of my second. This laptop runs cooler and seems lighter with a 14" screen. The touchpad with alternate number keypad function is a great plus. I wanted the added feature of a backlit keyboard but the highlighted 'enter' key is a convenient plus. r a week of use I have given this a 5-star rating for value.
