Excellent refrigerator/freezer

I have loved this refrigerator/freezer. It has run great now for quite a few years and has so many great features. Love the side by side - never had one of these before. The ice and water dispenser are such an amazing bonus feature. I love the adjustable shelves and all the storage drawers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had same model refrigerator in our northern home so it was a no brainer to purchase the same for our Florida home. HOWEVER the freezer shelves and in this refrigerator are too small and keep falling off of their tracks! They are not wide enough for the tracks. Very Frustrating. What can I do?????

Messy crushed ice dispenser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many ways to position my glass in the dispenser to avoid letting the crushed ice from flying on me and on the wood flooring, without success. This is very annoying. When moisture gets on a wood floor you get water marks, it smears when you wipe it up and it attracts dirt. So the solution is not to use the crushed ice dispenser.
In addition, the compressor makes an annoying sound. Although, it is not loud, it is annoying all the same.
The available space is very disappointing. It seems to have less space than the smaller whirlpool I just replaced with this unit. The ice maker seems to be the culprit.
The black surface really shows smudges.
I do really like the interior lighting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
