Good cooktop with a design flaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded to this 5 burner cooktop through our builder. It cooks and functions as expected. There is, however, a HUGE design flaw. The most powerful burner is the front right burner that is located right to the control! What this means in practice is that we often burn ourselves turning off that burner. There needs to be more separation from the control knob or switch the front and back control knobs not to control the burner located so close. As mentioned in a couple of reviews, you'd be hard pressed to actually have 5 pots on this cooktop at the same time but that's due to the compact size.

It is very sturdy and the knobs are actually stainless steel instead of plastic like most cooktops. The grates are heavy duty. Still learning what elements are best for different types of cooking. I am very happy with the product.

I previously had a 5 burner and I could actually cook 5 pots on that stove but on this one unless they are small pots, you can not use all 5 burners. The builder selected this cooktop - I would have chosen a larger one. It is easy to clean and the griddle is nice.
