Lousy remote.

This\n TV is garbage through remote control. You have to move all around to get it to work. The\nMost of the time , it doesn't want to work at all. This is all very frustrating. The picture's clear TVS looks nice. Let's just 3 love, can't connect to the TV I even got a new remote and it's still won't come back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issues you are experiencing with your remote. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
First, please remove the batteries from your remote and then hold the Power button for eight seconds to reset the remote. Then, reinsert the batteries and try to use the remote again.
Next, Check if the remote is sending an IR signal. Take either a digital camera or use the camera on your phone or tablet. Point the remote at the camera, and then press and hold the Power button on the remote. As you hold the button down, look at the camera's screen. If the remote is sending an IR signal, you will see a colored light coming from the remote control.
If you do not see the IR light, replace the batteries with fresh ones and try again. If you still do not see the IR light, then replace the remote.

great picture bad remote

The picture is amazing, great resolution and the color is amazing. connectivity on some apps like fubo are slow but mostly likely the app. The only negative i have with the TV is the remote it is horrible. The remote always has trouble controlling the TV

Well, I am really happy and satisfied with this 50 inch TV Samsung that I purchased. This is my six Samsung TV. I currently have six in my home and I can say the quality of the U 8000 is beautiful by far. This new TV is better than all the other five TVs in the house but no, I’m not gonna replace the other five but I can see my family wanting to use my TV because they say the quality is perfect. It’s like you’re in the movie.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my Samsung tv. All you need is wifi to watch as many movies, videos or local stations. It is simple to set up and picture is awesome.
