Galaxy6 Watch only has a 12 Hour Battery
on February 26, 2024
Posted by: Zenzen

Despite the specs comma this battery typically last twelve to fifteen hrs. Today, I only took three thousand steps and the battery died sfter 12 hrs. Samsung will blame third party apps next But the reality is Samsung battery technology. That's not good.

Poor battery

This watch chews up the battery and spits it out for breakfast!! I have to charge it at least 4 times a week!! Yes I turned off the always on diplay and most other features. But whats the purpose of having all these fancy add on apps if you are spending most of your time charging the battery. I love the watch but I hate the battery. Samsung had to of know the battery would be an issue (for not lasting) and did nothing about it. The worst part about the watch is when you are not paying attention to when the battery needs charging (because all you get for notification is two vibrations and disappearing screen stating the battery mode is changing to conserve power) and the watch dies and then you charge the watch a day or so later, The watch has to be maually turned back on. you could out the watch back and wear it for most of the day and finally go to look at it, LOL, and the screen doesn't light up because you forgot to turn it back on!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not impressed

I used to have a fitbit. I could look at my steps every day and improve if I needed to. The past week, every night when I am going to bed it is exactly the same steps. HMMMM what are the odds. I like the watch face, however, the one I picked out does not stay. it changes randomly. I really cant remember why I wanted this watch. trying hard to find where I put my fitbit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good day Micro1117,
Thank you for finding the free time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic. I bought the watch about 3 weeks ago and so far, love it other than mostly the battery drain and the strap. I have AFIB. It is wonderful for detecting this problem.

My first Smart watch and I couldn't Be Happier!!

This is my first smart watch and I originally bought the 43mm black with regular eco leather band. I read the reviews and was a bit worried about battery life and I'm glad I bought it. I got 2 days plus out of the battery. After about 2 weeks, I decided to return it and get the 47mm black with the magnetic band. Which was an even better choice. I definitely like the large face. I have a small wrist which is why I started with the 43mm but I was use to a larger watch so I went for the 47mm. I have absolutely no problems with battery life or lag. I'm getting more than 2 days out of the battery and since I always take my watch off to shower, when it needs charging I throw it on the charger while I shower. The fast charge is great. I'm not the type of person who carries their phone around the house so with Bluetooth I can go anywhere in my house, even the basement and not miss an import text or call. I have AOD off, I tap the screen to wake it up. I use the step counter, heart rate, stress level, and sleep tracker so far. I don't use DND at night or anything and still get insane battery life. I honestly don't get all the reviews with the battery complaints or lag. I'm definitely very happy with my watch6 classic. I did notice one thing, it took maybe 3-4 days for the watch to become steady with how long the battery lasts, I imagine once it becomes adapted to your usage patterns you get better battery life. At least that's my experience. I would definitely recommend the watch6 Classic.
I would recommend this to a friend!
