Incredible timesaver for allowing other tasks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the 420iQ for two years now and it is a great timesaver to allow me to do other chores while my lawn is taken care of. The interface is easy to use and navigate and the mower is pretty good at keeping itself out of trouble or able to solve some problems that it might find itself in on your lawn. Maintenance is extremely easy to do since the system is waterproof and can be programmed to drive to a spot for your easy access and convenience to allow you to hose it down or change the cutting blades. Other than that there really isn't much else to worry about with this system, it just works cutting about a half acre of sloped terrain with multiple obstacles like trees and flower beds with no complaints in my experience Parts are all low cost if you need them but I found Husqvarna service and support to have gone above and beyond for the 6 years I have used Automowers.

Transfer video needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m excited to complete the set up… it’s been a slow process for me because the videos are simple, but really wish they had a separate how to set up a transfer video…
Other than that, I’m confident in the machine doing the work it needs to do as it comes. Highly recommended to me by a Neighbor.

Pros and Cons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the 420iq for a few months now and there have been some things that I’m happy with and some frustration. Setup was not easy, it took a long time to establish the connection and the instructions and support were not helpful in solving the problem that I was experiencing. The app is very clunky and not very user friendly - for how much technology they goes into this thing I would expect better. My house lost power for a few hours yesterday and when it came back on my automower was giving me an error message saying work area tampered with. The trouble shoot solution suggested was literally turn it off and back on and if that doesn’t work then contact our support, which is not easy to do and again clunky. Now for the good, when there are not issues, this mower performs great and really cuts the grass well. It makes nice lines and I am very happy with the performance when it’s working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After first run of mower in an area I edited points to get me where I needed to be Only comment is trying to manage 2 sides of a fence. They have a solution you can buy which is what sealed the deal for me. Going to try without it at first.

Great little mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an acre with a lot of gardens and trees and I wasn't sure a robot mower would be up to the task but I've been pleasantly surprised! I am still working on setting up each area but it is working really well and the longer I have it the better I get at adding and editing work areas. Being able to keep the lawns mowed without actually having to do them myself is wonderful. It even is working under some large trees although there are a couple of spots that it has trouble connecting to satellite but it does the vast majority of the property really well with no problem.

Would recommend, with some caveats

Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others who are looking to “work smarter, not harder”. It gave me time back by not having to mow my lawn… BUT… setting the GPS perimeter took a while and if I ever tried to adjust or modify a point or line, it would glitch and I’d have to retrace the ENTIRE zone all over again. Secondly, I’ve found I still need to push mow or weed wack the perimeter/edges where the Automower just can’t get close enough. Lastly, it does get stuck occasionally. This was generally not a big issue as I’d just go nudge it a few inches and send it back on its way, but I was reluctant to use it if I was going to be away for several days at a time due to this issue. Again, OVERALL, I’d say the pros outweigh the cons. I lived that this model had adjustable height up to 4”

Really amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had doubts about how this mower would handle the hills in my yard but it had very little problems. It mows perfectly straight lines and doesn’t tear up my yard. Once I got it set up I just had to make a few tweaks to get it closer, etc. I have 2 sections and almost an acre of ground and “Lambo” is making my yard look great again. I’m going to save a lot of $$$ with this mower. Highly recommend.
