Great concept. Still needs work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower works great 90% of the time. Cutting lines are crisp and straight and the lawn looks great. However, I seem to have a range of issues the other 10% of the time and it’s rare that I go two weeks without having to go out and correct something with the mower. The typical issues are: 1) the mower gets stuck. 2) the mower loses signal under a tree and gives up. 3) the mower cannot dock at the charging station and gives up.
It is a good mower for those that do not mind to tinker, but it is not a mow for those that just want to “set it and forget it”.
In addition, one of the wheels stopped working after the first few weeks. It turned out that the bolt keeps in place came loose. I would expect more quality control from a product in this price range.

Would recommend, with some caveats

Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others who are looking to “work smarter, not harder”. It gave me time back by not having to mow my lawn… BUT… setting the GPS perimeter took a while and if I ever tried to adjust or modify a point or line, it would glitch and I’d have to retrace the ENTIRE zone all over again. Secondly, I’ve found I still need to push mow or weed wack the perimeter/edges where the Automower just can’t get close enough. Lastly, it does get stuck occasionally. This was generally not a big issue as I’d just go nudge it a few inches and send it back on its way, but I was reluctant to use it if I was going to be away for several days at a time due to this issue. Again, OVERALL, I’d say the pros outweigh the cons. I lived that this model had adjustable height up to 4”
