Love the Automower

It’s only been a couple weeks of use and this thing rocks! Mowing twice a week with the Automower takes about two minutes of my time (I have to open the gate so it can get to the front yard). Yard work for me is now pretty much limited to weed-eating once a week, at my convenience. Setup was pretty simple. The systematic mowing makes beautiful lines in the yard that I simply couldn’t achieve with my push mower.

Excellent overall but set up can be tedious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using robotic mowers for about a decade, and the Husqvarna Automower 410 IQ is hands-down the best I've had—though setting it up takes some patience. The wireless GPS setup is different from traditional wired setups, and there's definitely a learning curve. You have to manually drive the mower around each section of your yard to define the boundaries, and corners can be tricky. I found myself tweaking zones quite a bit to make sure no patches of grass got missed.
In my case, I've got seven distinct yard zones, and configuring each one individually was time-consuming. You're essentially guiding the mower manually (with no steering wheel, so expect some zig-zagging) to create virtual boundaries and guide paths back to the charging station. Do yourself a favor and pick a cool day—setting this up in Florida heat was no joke!
The GPS feature requires installing a positioning device at least 5-6 feet off the ground with clear sky visibility. Mine ended up mounted near a fence rather than the recommended rooftop placement, and it's been mostly reliable. Occasionally, when the mower loses GPS signal (like under dense bushes), it'll stop and alert you, meaning you'll have to clear obstructions or set up "no-go" zones. You can switch back to a boundary wire setup if GPS coverage becomes problematic, but to me, that defeats the wireless advantage.
Now the great stuff: Once dialed in, the Automower 410 IQ really shines. You can customize mowing heights and select from several mowing patterns (random, criss-cross, etc.), and the app uses AI to suggest mowing schedules, which works surprisingly well. The mower handles uneven terrain impressively—large rear wheels mean it rarely gets stuck in dips or small holes, a huge improvement over older models I've used.
Bottom line: If you're prepared for the initial setup and tweaking, this mower is fantastic. The grass looks better than ever, maintenance is minimal, and the overall performance is excellent. Just be realistic about GPS limitations and yard coverage when deciding if it's right for you.

Hands-Free Lawn Care That Actually Works – 410iQ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the Husqvarna Automower 410 iQ installed by Central Wisconsin Powersports, and I couldn’t be happier. Josh and the team were professional, helpful, and handled everything—including mounting the EPOS reference station on my roof and fully mapping my yard. The installation was clean, and they took the time to explain the setup clearly.
The mower itself is a game changer. It’s quiet, efficient, and smart enough to handle my somewhat uneven lawn, including mild slopes. I love that I can schedule it—or manually start it from the app—and that it automatically returns to the charging station. Even in light rain, it performs well without tearing up the lawn.
I set the cutting height to the max 4”, and it leaves the yard looking tidy with minimal clippings. Compared to my EGO push mower (set to 6”), the Automower still leaves a more consistent and higher cut.
No gas. No noise. No pushing. Just results. If you’re looking to save time and get reliable results, this is a worthwhile investment.

Perfect Manicured Lawn

I wanted to wait a full growing season before reviewing and I LOVE this automower. It does take a few minutes to set-up and then a few map adjustments to ensure it gets close to the edges. Once that is complete, it takes over and has worked flawlessly all season. One of the coolest features is that it will make perfect patterns in the yard (triangle, checkerboard and parallel). My biggest recommendations is to closely follow all the directions for set-up and do not rush the process (I learned this the hard way).

Worth the money, even with the quirks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really enjoyed this iQ mower. It’s so much more convenient than my previous model that had the boundary wire. It takes a few weeks to get it fully adjusted to your yard but once that’s done, it’s incredibly convenient. It’s saved me countless hours of yard work and money from having to hire landscapers.
It’s not completely hands off as it still gets stuck or slides off the curb occasionally, and you still have to edge and string trim yourself, but it’s still absolutely worth it.

Husqvarna 410IQ - amazing

From the moment I set it up, I knew this was going to be a game changer. The wireless boundary system is brilliant — no need to bury wires or fuss with complicated layouts. I was able to set everything up through the app, and within a short time the mower was running smoothly on its own.
What impresses me most is how consistently it delivers a perfectly even cut. My lawn has a few slopes and tricky spots, but the 410iQ handles them with ease. It’s also much quieter than I expected; I can have it running without disturbing anyone, which makes it feel like it’s working in the background while I get on with my day.
The build quality is outstanding too. It feels sturdy and durable, and maintenance is minimal — just the occasional blade change, which takes only a few minutes. Every time I step outside, my yard looks like it’s been freshly mowed, and I didn’t have to push a thing.

Retireing 315X for 410iq

The 315x was so good I feel it was the best money I have ever spent.
When I saw all of the improvements made to the 410iq it was the only choice.
The people love that you don't here the gas motor.
I like not messing with gas,oil,sharpening the blade and cutting.
It is nice to always having the lawn manicured razor cut of perfection .
I cant wait to use the different cut patterns that can be used.
The 315x was so good I feel it was the best money I have ever spent.
