It's an upgrade, but not as much as it should be

I moved from the Fold4 to Fold6. There are significant improvments between the two. The biggest being the ability to swap between open and closed screens. The Fold4 sucked at this and reset whatever you were looking at between the two. It acted as two completely different phones from little to big screen and back. The fold 6 does not. It clearly and smoothly swaps between front and inner screens without issue. The next biggest difference is smoothness of the UI. The fold4 was always a bit jerky, while the 6 is super smooth and crystal clear. Lowlights are screen size. What they claim in difference is negligable in hand. Honestly, the 6 feels smaller than the 4 for the wrong reasons. It needs to be 1/2" taller and wider when closed from the current size to be the right sized phone. Also, I don't welcome the squared edges, because they are sharp and uncomfortable to hold. I do like the faux carbon fiber of the black color this year. Still wish there was a gray model with the carbon look. Battery is identical, but drains faster on the 6. Great phone if you are coming to a foldable, but not much change if you are upgrading. Enough for 4 to 6, but probably not 5 to 6.

Excellent phone, very close in performance to the Fold 5 I traded in but I haven't explored all of the features to their fullest as of yet on this 6. Only improvement I would like to see is if the next gen (Fold 7) has the S pen integrated on the inside as with the S23,24's did.

Great Upgrade

What a great phone. I upgraded from the Z Fold 4 and found the user experience of this phone to be incredible. Definitely worth the upgrade for me.
Things I found noticeably better:
1. Battery life
2. Snappyness
3. Outer screen usability
4. Inner screen usability
5. Brightness

Overall the only thing I am sad about is the lack of a built in s-pen. I have stopped using the s-pen completely because I refuse to have add bulk to a case in order to carry it around. I have purchased an iPad just to write with now since I can't use my Fold. If the pen had a dedicated home in the phone I'd have it when I need it.

I have bought fold 6 after traded z fold 4 I love fold 6,, its thinner ,light weight and very fast and smooth feel, and hinge is better than before any model.
