It lasted four months. I was very upset… I should have stuck with a different brand.

Excellent Product

I use to have another brand smart plugs that were a nightmare to set up and were constantly giving trouble since I've switched over to Roku smart plugs I haven't had the first problem. I highly recommend any Roku product

Bought 6 units, spent hours, tried ever possible method, no success in getting them to turn on and off to schedule. Edited rules in every possible alternative; sometimes one or two of the 6 units work but mostly not. No problem turning on and off manually.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fails to hold schedulle

Terrible device. Fails to hold schedule and ROKU has done nothing about it. Just VERY SORRY i bought 2 of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart plug solved my dilemma of turning on and off my outside lights. We don't have a switch, so it was always a matter of plugging them in when we wanted them and then unplugging and walking in the dark to go inside at the end of the night. This smart plug made it so we could turn them on before walking out of the house & turn them off once we're back inside. Love it!

Works Great-Must Use ANOTHER PHONE APP!

I purchased 4 of the Roku Indoor Smart Plug SE's today.
Yes, these are great smart plugs. I have been setting up smart homes for over 15 years and have used and have in use a variety of smart plugs. Most were easy to setup using the Smart Life phone app so all the various smart plugs and their dedicated phone apps could be consolidated into one phone app. Not the Roku Indoor Smart Plug SE, however?!? The Roku Smart Plug SE requires you to first download the Roku smart home app and then you must activate the Roku Smart Home Skill in your Alexa app. Not a big deal, but another pain. After the Roku Smart Plug SE's are activated in Alexa, you can then use Alex for all of your devices. Unlike other devices, the Roku Smart Plug does not automatically integrate into the Smart Life app on your phone.
Bottom Line: If you want to use this device, you must ADD ANOTHER app to your phone-NOT COOL! Positive: Once setup, they automatically update their Firmware-a good thing! Roku: Please keep the Firmware updates coming!
