Roku Outdoor Smart Plug for Fans

With these Roku Smart plugs and the Roku Smart Home app, it is so easy to control the attic and crawl space fans. If I see a weather or humidity change on my weather app, I can turn these fans on or off in the comfort of my recliner with my phone. There is also a timer. After several weeks, they have worked flawlessly.

Was getting tired of getting up to turn on the lights. Now when it gets dark I can control my lights with my phone. It’s like a magic power.

Good product brought down by a poor app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out this smart plug when I received it. It was very easy to set up. I like the scheduling feature which could I used on non-smart lamps to control the light. I didn't really have anything else I needed to control remotely but I think having this plug as an option to do so is very useful. My issue with this product was moreso with the app used to control it. Now, I know this is a review for the product, but if any time I need to control it I need the app, I can’t help but include the app experience in this review. After a few days I noticed there was a failure with the app which prevented it from connecting to the plug and allowing me to control it. I force restarted the app and that did not help. I then uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it worked. However, after a couple more days the error occurred again and I couldn’t control the device. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again but this time it wouldn’t even allow me to sign in. It’s disappointing because this product has a lot of promise but my frustration with the app was a little too much to warrant a higher review. I think once the bugs are figured out with the app, this will be a great product to get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice indoor smart plug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself very tech savvy and usually have the latest and greatest technology in my home. However, I had never utilized smart plugs because I didn't really have the need. My family was setting up my Christmas tree this year, and I thought to myself how perfect it would be to have the tree lights on a smart plug so I could setup a schedule for them to automatically turn on and off. I used the Roku Indoor Smart Plug and it was extremely easy to configure-- I had everything setup and working in only 5 minutes. The Roku Smart Home App is good enough, and setting up the schedule for my Christmas tree lights was intuitive. The actual smart plug unit feels durable, and I also appreciate how this package includes two smart plugs. This has truly been a game changer for my Christmas tree because I can set it and forget it! No more bending over in the morning to turn on the lights and then forgetting to turn them off before bed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Download the app on your phone, plug in your item, follow the prompts…good to go! We have used the times for a weekend away and tested it before we left. We got home to a lit living room. My favorite feature is being able to turn it on from my phone while not home. Sometimes you don’t know that you won’t be home before dark and you don’t want to leave lights on all day. I don’t really like to come home to a dark house but more importantly my very spoiled little dog doesn’t like to be alone in the dark! So if I’m out and about past sunset I can just use the app to turn on lights, very convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy to set up and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This indoor smart plug is nice and small, and was very easy to get set up. The scheduling feature works perfectly to control old lamps without having to get up and manually use them. Will add more around the house.

I love that I can turn my light on if I am away or simply turn it off if I have already snuggled into bed. I would recommend to anyone looking to control an inside light with their phone.

Also very simple to set up with our Alexa. Planning to get more soon so we can have a whole room to power up or down together.
