[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not too sure about the whole smart home thing but I can handle a couple of plugs. You plug it in and connect to the app and then connect your appliance. It's handy for turning things on and off remotely. I've been using a lamp on it and it's helpful to be able to turn it on when I'm out later than expected and don't want to walk into a dark house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy to install and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to be able to turn on and off certain appliances in my house. I was hoping to use in both bedroom and family room. This way for the family room, I can turn off the tv easily when my children "accidentally" leave it on. Same thing with the lamps around the house. I am loving the fact that I can just switch it off if need be even when not home. Off course it is also fun to be annoying and turn off the tv when they are watching it or should be doing homework. Easy way to control the activity.

Decent smart plug

I like the simple design of the plug and the accompanying app. Easy to control and set up schedules. This is the first smart plug I’ve purchased, but it works very well.

Needs increased size font

I wake up in the morning, open the Roku Smart Home mobile app, and turn on the coffee machine in the kitchen.
Either my wife or myself can turn on the coffee.
The font size makes it hard to read on/off with blurry eyes and without glasses.
Remember "Kaizen" - Japanese word for "continual improvement".
Other than having too small of a font, the product works well.

I purchased a 2-pack, only needing one. After installing the first one, I found a spot for #2, now I can’t wait to receive my next 2-pack as i’ve found more places to install them. They make every day life so much easier. Wish I would have discovered Roku sooner. Thanks!

Roku Smart plug

I've bought other brands of smart Plugs and they don't seem to work in my Garage. I was extremely irritated. I have a Roku TV so I thought I'd try the Smart Plugs. I am extremely pleased. Will be buying more. Thank you, Roku.
