Great TV, but remote lacks a mute button

I purchased this TV and the LG S90TR soundbar. This was a significant upgrade for me and playing the YouTube LG Demo videos look and sound as good as they do in the store. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the magic remote does not have a mute button. To mute the sound, you have to hold the volume down for several steps and then it mutes. If you have the volume set where you want it, and want to mute without changing the volume to answer a phone call, you can't. This also makes it impossible to go from a high volume to a low volume quickly without unintentionally muting the TV several times while lowering the volume. This is a major annoyance to me. Future remotes need to have a mute button on the remote. This could be solved by allowing an existing button to be reassigned as a mute button with a firmware update. Otherwise this a great TV.

Vivid picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV definitely stands out has having a much more vivid and crisp display than other standard TVs. The TV came with free mounting, which was very helpful. The display is easy use and set up, and the UI is easy to navigate. The sound quality is also great. I watch a lot of movies and have noticed a big improvement in my at-home movie watching experience. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a “select” or “ok” button on the remote, since the middle button is easy to accidentally scroll on.

CINEMA EXPERIENCE AT HOME

The resolution is immaculate where the picture quality genuinely felt so detailed. Setup was simple as the actual TV design is sleek and doesn't feel bulky in your main area room. The new technology made simple shows feel super immersive which was an incredible plus to have. Watching the news and cartoons has become more crisp for us. LG OLED evo 55" — Worth Every Penny

The 4K picture quality is unlike anything I've had in my home, the AI optimizes it automatically and it shows. The frame is incredibly slim, setup was simple, ports are easy to access, and the remote is so much better than expected. It has a built-in mic, and points like a cursor on screen. Genuinely no complaints. If you're considering it, stop overthinking it.

The Best TV Upgrade I've Ever Made

Audio is terriblr

Thumb wheel on the remote control failed two times in six months. Both replacement remote controls took 7-10 days, no remote no TV. I would not buy this LG OLED65C5AUA again.
