Excellent OLED TV that I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 77 inch C5 OLED TV for my living room. I was worried that it is quite bright during the day time but oh boy I was wrong. The color is vivid and sharp. It's very thin and sleek too.Mounting service it came with was the top notch. I would recommend this TV for everyone.

Great TV - Magic Remote, Not So Great
on February 26, 2026
Posted by: Tim SC
Great Picture and Sounds - The "magic" remote does NOT have numbers to channel select. Instead, you must use the optic pointer which is clumsy at best...but I have only owned the TV for 2 days....
Response from lg.comBy LG, February 26, 2026
Hi, Tim. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV. We’re delighted to hear that the picture quality has impressed you and is even better than your previous LG TV. It’s wonderful to know the upgrade has made such a positive difference for you. To help with your new setup you can adjust the pointer speed and size in the Accessibility menu to make the Magic Remote easier to navigate. We are unable to control the volume. It’s a lot louder on different channels and we have to turn it up to 90 to hear some channels. We would like some instructions o; how to work the tv

Terrible remote, no setting to fix
on November 18, 2025
Posted by: JadonDrew
The remote is genuinely terrible. It constantly activates a very ugly and cumbersome pointer. I thought upon setting up the TV that I could easily go into settings and disable it, but no, I discover that it is a permanent built in feature that cannot be disabled.
I do further research and find that this has been a problem for years, with people begging for another option and LG ignoring them. For a premium OLED TV, that is honestly unacceptable, the TV should be easy to use out of the box and not feel like it is actively fighting against you as you try to navigate content and settings.
It may be a solvable issue using third party hardware, but due to the fact that the TV is very annoying and difficult to use without additional purchases and doesn’t give a tiny toggle in the settings to disable “magic pointer” forever (while loading up the TV with bloat and software that the user will never want to use, such as an AI chatbot), I am not able to give this TV higher than one star. Hopefully, if enough people speak out, LG will listen and the TV will be usable out of the box.

Top-Tier OLED TV with Stunning Visuals
on March 31, 2026
Posted by: GM61
I am a LG employee family member, and I purchased this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
I’ve been extremely impressed with the 55-inch LG OLED evo AI C6. The picture quality is simply outstanding—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible contrast make everything from movies to sports look stunning. The OLED technology really shines, especially in darker scenes where detail is often lost on other TVs.
The AI-powered features are a nice touch as well. The upscaling works better than expected, making older content look sharper and more refined. The interface is fast and intuitive, and navigating apps like Netflix, YouTube, and others is seamless.
Sound quality is also surprisingly good for a flat-panel TV, with clear dialogue and decent depth, though pairing it with a soundbar would take it to the next level.
Setup was quick and straightforward, and the overall design is sleek and modern—it looks great in my living room.
Overall, this TV delivers a premium viewing experience and feels like a solid investment for anyone who values top-tier picture quality and smart features. Highly recommended!

Very poor UI. Color and brightness is average

This review is compared with my older TV (>10 years old non LG) and the ability to set it up. If I cannot even choose the source of inputs easily in 2025 and the source is sticky, as in, does not go back to another one, I don't get the design at all. After 20 minutes and multiple attempts to download and run YouTube TV, I am asked to repeatedly sign into LG accounts, with a alphabet by alphabet entry, and it still does NOT work. Pathetic.
