I have a vitamix but I rather use my nutribullet many times a day as it does a wonderful job and so much easier to clean.

I first purchased the NutriBullet 600 but returned it because it fell apart. I exchanged it for another one which also fell apart. I then purchased the NutriBullet PRO which also fell apart. I think the little plastic piece you push down on to make the motor turn is flawed. All three machines did the same thing after about 3-6 months usage. I'm now the proud owner of a personal Ninja and so far couldn't be happier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
