When the bullet first came out I bought one and was disappointed because it broke down really easy. So I bought this new one thinking that the defects would be resolved, but as I plugged it in it worked beautifully and I tried one more time and no problem. I bought in Jun 2014 and I tried using it at the end of Oct 2014 and the darn thing wouldn't work, no noise, no turning, nothing, etc... I called the company and was told that it was a 1 year warranty, I told them what was wrong with it, the person on the other end of the phone was asking all kind of questions. I gave up on them, so I returned it to the original store where I bought it and they took it back. Will I buy another bullet product, um NO, never again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With power and speed, this appliance is giving me the healthy start to each day. I can honestly say I am recovering health that I don't think I would have without my breakfast smoothies. Louder than the original, this model makes incredibly blended drinks in what seems like a quarter of the time. Don't think about it, just get one!
