Yes, this high-speed machine does the job! If instructions are followed, it will turn almost anything into a liquid. I core and quarter apples, but leave the peel, to make applesauce. Now that is good. I use this primarily to make food easier to eat for someone with swallowing difficulties. This machine is not for beginners! It is powerful and very safe if instructions are followed. Also, I had the o-ring come loose on one of the blades and NutriBullet replaced it. No dishwasher which is best for blades. If rinsed off or soaked immediately after use there is no problem cleaning it.
This product worked well at first. I make smoothies daily, and the blades went dull very quickly within six months, I would expect the blades would at least last a year. Upgraded to another product, disappointed in the bullet.
Recently I took a trip to California and found myself muttering that I missed my NutriBullet when I had to eat out every day. Seeing all the fresh produce at the farmers' market at the Ferry Building in San Francisco was torture. I'm back now and continuing to enjoy using it twice a day. If only I could exercise with such loyalty :)
