I was initially very pleased with my NutriBullet, and when it worked it did a great job. However, after three months of use the plastic slots in the base locked to the extent that the container could not be inserted into the drive mechanism. Has anyone else had this problem?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I first bought this product I put mostly fruit in it because I wasn't used to drinking fruits and veggies and found the taste of greens strange. It really didn't take long to build up to 50/50. I totally enjoy my drinks every day. This is a wonderful way to get your nutrients in a tasty way.

Ive had this since June of 2014 and I am semi pleased. It works well as described however it is extremely loud and I cannot make early morning smoothies without waking up the entire household. Additionally the rubber rings keep coming out of the things with blades. That has been super annoying. I think maybe I just have a defective set and product. Ive heard great things but this one doesn't follow suit.

Pro's chops and mixes fast to a smooth texture, great for smoothies. Fairly easy to clean. Only con is that you need to tighten blade pretty well so it doesn't leak into the mixer base. And after mixing it is takes a lot of effort to screw it off again. Especially for older folks with weaker hands. If It was my design I would increase the ribs on the cups and blade cap for extra grip. Worried that my Mother would not be able to get it apart by herself if I buy her one. Food for thought! Sorry can only give 4 stars for ease of use because of this )-:
