I have mostly used my Nutribullet for making fresh fruit smoothies. since it has gotten colder weather I am cooking more soups, some of which I want pureed. Last week I put some cooked squash (still a bit warm) with broth to puree and all of a sudden the contents of the container came leaking out from the bottom of the stand! all over my counters and what a mess. of course I did not know how to take it apart to clean it so I put it upside down on paper towels over night, and then right side up for another day. now I am afraid to use it. it is the $200 unit too! makes me mad.
At first it was working great. Now it does not work that good when I add a little crushed ice with my nutritional fruit shake mix for breakfast and lunch. Seams not to blend very well now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wish I had bought this sooner.Have had it for about 7 months & even took it on 2 vacations with me. I not only make my morning nutritional drinks but also the occasional evening cocktail. Anything with pineapple is my favorite & I have my husband using it also. I'll have to get him his own for work!
Initially all was great and in order. After about 8 months the mechanism (start) that engages the blades started malfunctioning. It became extremely difficult to get machine to work and when/if it did it would not stop as designed
Purchased two months to help make foods for my mom that are high in calories for her to drink. She has been diagnosed with cancer and has lost a lot of weight because of it.
