Bought this 900 version to replace original which lasted about 3 years with heavy use. Love the price point, the added power and the ease of use/clean up. My only wish is for a quieter NutriBullet.
How much power do you need to make a green smoothie was my question. I read the reviews on the Pro and decided to give it a try, that I could return it for the RX if it didn't make smoooth the greens I planned on incorporating, as the RX cost twice as much and I didn't need to make soup. Well you need THIS much. Greens obliterated, almonds dusted, the only thing that has a tiny bit remaining would be my goji berries. And I'm okay with that. I recommend this to people trying to incorporate more veggies into a healthy morning breakfast. I start my day of with four servings! :D My model was purchased in April 2016 and does not contain a removable gasket which seems to have been at issue in the past. Win.
We bought the "Pro" because it's supposed to be stronger, it burned out after only 2 weeks and now just makes a humming sound. I think it burned out because of the frozen fruit we blend with it, perhaps a sticker or sheet in the blender saying what it can't blend?
Also beware, cleaning the blades is incredibly difficult, they suggest using a bottle brush, but it just can't reach on the underside of the two closest blades to the casing. I end up trying to wedge a metal fork just right to scrape off the remaining bits to ensure it doesn't go rancid for the next blend.
I love it's power an portability. When my first one died it came with other blades, lids, and receipe book. My new purchase didn't come with the set. I had to purchase separately.customer service is exceptional at nutri bullet..one request is to be able to purchase a cup little larger than 32oz. It's hard to add ice to thicken it due to lack of room after the max line..the 73rd has the 40oz I think but doesn't fit the pro model..great product..the revised ring seal on the blade works much better..thx
