It's a great smoothie maker--quick, efficient and easy clean up. The reason I didn't give it Five Stars is that the first one I purchased only lasted 5 months. I'm still on first month of the second one I purchased, so the jury is still out on how long they last--longer than 5 months, I hope.

I bought this to replace the 600 watt version my wife bought a couple years ago. One of the reasons I bought it was because it came with two larger cups. I would've given it 5 stars, but i know the tabs on the cups wear out eventually, and I'll have to get new ones.

I like it for mixing protein drinks and adding stuff to the drink.
But, the bumpers inside the bottom unit that the blade unit rests on keep falling off. I've lost one. There's no way to call customer service to get a replacement part. I sure am not going going to buy a new one for the sake of a 10 cent part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
