I should have read the reviews before I purchased. I bought my PRO a month ago and it already leaks! yes I have an extended warranty, but don't want to deal with the hassles of proof of purchase and exchange.
Works very well for making smoothies once you learn how much liquid vs. solid, ice, etc. The only problem that I see is that the base should have some sort of pressure relief valve built in. Contents expand quite a bit when blending and pressure develops within the cup. This makes it difficult to remove the base sometimes which you have to do very slowly to allow the pressure to escape without making a mess. A simple pressure relief valve built into the base would resolve this problem.
The rounded bottom of the cup is very easy to clean.
I bought it because I bought one for my daughter who loves it. However, I used it 5 times and it leaked each time. The last time it leaked only a little because my husband tightened it a lot. However, I was unable to loosen and open it. I ended up returning it.
I have had a nutribullet 600 watt for years. I decided to upgrade to the 900 watt. I am not sure that I am happy that I did. It is very loud! It does not seem to work any better than the 600. I am not sure that it should be so loud. I still like the nutribullet concept but think I would stay with the 600.
I bought this 2 months ago and use it every day for my smoothie. I also use it for my salad dressing and keep it in the container with the pour top which is great because it does not leak when you pour the dressing. My only regret is that the NurtriBullet does not come with one small cup...just 3 large ones.
