Misleading color

I was so excited to get my pink nutribullet but the color does not match the picture. In fact the shade of pink matches the pink in the background. And I don't like it. I'm just gonna keep it because returning it is too much of an hassle.

I bought mine 12 years ago from one of the shopping channels. I use to make smoothies with frozen fruit. And the only problem I've had, has been user error ( ie... Not putting the gasket all the way in, which resulted in my gaskets getting cut in half. Not putting the lid on tight.) I think the blades are finally getting dull. Which brings me to this website to purchase new ones. And one more thing that I have read on here. I have never taken out the blade to take the gasket off. I just take a knife and pry it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a forever blender

2 months in we had to replace the blade assembly, the gasket is not replaceable so you have to replace the whole assembly. I was told that the entire blade assembly should be replaced every 6 months, what a waste. It does an ok job making chunky smoothies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have just purchased this machine having been assured I could blend nuts and dried fruits to make protein balls. After reading the manual and these reviews I think I have bought a smoothie maker which is not what will be my primary use.
I do not add liquid during first blending process .....and then it may be honey ....
Should I package this up and return it?

Recieved as a gift, and we could tell it started to loose power after 2 years of non-frequent use.
