I previously had the red bullet for several years. It recently broke so I decided to upgrade to the Pro. I find that the top does not screw on tight no matter how tight I screw it on. Every time I blend my shake, it leaks all over in the machine. I am thinking either the ring is defected or this is really a poorly made product.
I waited quite a bit before leaving my review, I did not want to be a consumer who bought something and gave it a great review; just to have something happen and wish I had not posted. In my opinion (for whatever it is worth), this is a good little machine. I make (2) pitchers, large enough to last two weeks (16oz. from each container, twice per day); so doing this it is a lot to run through it at one time. I find that for me it tends to overheat, it will automatically shut down until it cools down, because of this my rest time between "large" cups to be chopped is a little longer. BUT, if you are not mixing "large" quantities you will be just fine. I have chopped: seeds, EVERY fruit I could think of (one of my 16oz. cups is spinach & fruit based, and the other is spinach & vegetable based). Saying that, I have put ALL leafy products through it, and many other vegetables (onions, carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers {fyi, cucumbers tend to foam up and fill cup with froth so break up in doses}). Not sure what else to say....it was worth the cost, and yes if this one goes I would buy another one. P.s., if you use it the way it is intended you "should" not have any issues, the only compliant you might have is that the lid is tough to get off, just unscrew slowly, from the mixing process it is under a little pressure, I usually spray myself green. Hope that gives you some insight :-)
Purchased a couple months ago. I do have a Vitamix but it is too big and bulky on a day to day use. I also owned the smaller Bullet but that was too small and not powerfull enough. This Nutribullet Pro really seems to be doing the trick. The size of cups are perfect and the motor power gets the job done. Very satisfied.
I bought the NutriBullet Pro and have been making very nice frozen fruit smoothies with it. My only little criticism is that it is difficult to open after I have tightly closed it and it has sufficiently blended the ingredients. I found that it leaked a bit if I hadn't closed it very tight.
