Perfect Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a cold brew coffee drinker for many years! The system that I have been using for a long time was small and I constantly felt like I was grinding beans and making coffee. I was hunting for a larger size that would still fit in my fridge without taking up a ton of room and this is it! After making my first batch, I was thinking, "wow it takes a lot of coffee vs. water". The next day I poured a cup and added ice....it was sooooooo strong. I ignored the instructions of adding water/milk to it because I had never added anything to the coffee from my old system. Once I found the perfect concentrate to water ratio I loved it even more. This batch will most likely last an entire week and it makes some really really great coffee. The system was easy to use and directions were easy to follow. The container is all glass and stainless and very heavy and very great quality. This will probably out live me. I am so happy with this product and will not be using anything else!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leaked everywhere

I had been wanting this cold brew maker for a while. I was so excited to get one. When did my 1st cold brew it leaked and I was so upset when the bottom would not turn tight. The round piece on the bottom just kept turning and would never tighten. Also the cold brew maker looked and felt like a good kitchenaid product but the piece that leaked where made out of plastic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Built - One Big Issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The build quality of this is great. You can tell it is made by KitchenAid. The filter is works well and The maker is heavy for its size. But the main issue with this is that the spout is at the bottom, which means that any fine coffee particles that makes it through the filter will settle to the bottom and make it to the first few cups dispensed. This means all the coffee has to be course ground, with no fine particles in order to avoid the coffee sediment. You would have to use a burr grinder and then strain out fine particles - which would be a lot of work. If you make cold brew with a French press, the benefit is that you pour from the top - not the bottom, as you would with this maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clogged mess

Fairly experienced with cold brew, I have 5 or 6 and this is, by far, the biggest let down. The spout is weak naturally but then it gets clogged with the finer grains that come through.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

True Cold Brew!!

You let it steep to get that rich full bodied flavor & enjoy! This is NOT watered down version like the kind you brew hot over ice type of cold brew coffee machines. This is a true COLD brew. After you prepare and it has steeped, you actually put it in your fridge as it has a small footprint. It has a stainless steel tap/spigot that dispenses the cold brew anytime you want it right from your fridge ready at you fingertips! It has a handle to carry easily for portability. It's top quality and beautifully designed with glass and stainless steel for easy usage and clean up. No staining or film left on the glass.The reusable stainless steel steeper is labeled with fill level indicators to take the guesswork out of the brewing process. You can not only make cold coffee brews but you can use this to brew teas as well. This unit will definitely catch the eyes of your guests and impress them. Great Cold Brew at Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the KitchenAid-38 Cold Brew Coffee Maker and I think it is Fantastic. I read and follwed all instructions which are very easy to understand and do. The Stainless steel Steeper that requires NO Paper Filter is great. After adding the right amount of coarsely ground coffee beans and wate, then refrigerating overnight, this Morning I made an iced coffee and it was delicious. I also see you can make tea and a huge plus for me especially with the Holidays around the corner is using the Steeper to infuse some fruit in Vodka for entertaining. The Unit is also a great size for easy transport. There is no doubt I will get a ton if different uses for the Dispenser. Another GREAT Product from KitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Kitchen Aid 38 oz Cold Brew Coffee Maker. I love how easy it is to prepare and clean! I grind up 11.9 to 12 oz fresh coffee beans until coarse, add the appropriate amount of water (59 oz) and let it sit for 24 hours. I can get about 2 1/2 to 3 cups (20 oz each) out of that. The flavor is fresh and strong. This saves me so much money! I love how portable it is. The stainless steel handle is strong and sturdy. The spout is convenient I just wish it dispensed a little quicker. I’m super happy with this! I definitely recommend it!
