Lightweight and sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because it was very light and it has held up well so far. I would recommend buying for people who want a carry on that fits well on the overhead luggage compartments and also for airlines that have strict weight requirements

Great design and light, but fatally flawed hinges

I purchased this luggage for San Francisco to Hong Kong/Jakarta/Bali trip about a month ago. First time using the luggage structurally the luggage survived the trip extremely well, no dents or crack. However the hinges has completely failed. The stitches on one side of the hinge came apart by the time I arrived in Jakarta. I can see glue residue coming apart from the middle of the hinges. Very poor design as the hinge is bit flexible enough to actually bend when the luggage is opened. Contemplating repair options or modify personally with a more reliable hinges system. 2 stars for great design and lightweight for the size.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great til handle broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple years ago. On sale. It has been GREAT to travel with. Light, compact all great things. Until….. the handle broke right before I was supposed to board the plane. Luckily it was on my return flights. But I had no way to fix it so I had to carry it - which was hard on y body. Ofor some of the longer walkways, I was able to push it, but that wasn’t fun either
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hinge problem
