Healthy Hair!!

I love this. I was so worried that it wouldn't live up to the hype. However, I have had it for 2 weeks now and I'm in love. It takes a little trial and error, so definitely don't get discouraged. I have found I need to leave mine on around 12-15 seconds and then blast with cold for 5 seconds for the curl to hold on day one. Then, the subsequent days (as your hair gets dirtier/more texture) the curls are much easier to get to hold. The brushes straighten my hair perfectly. I can definitely tell the difference in the feel of my hair even after 2 weeks. I haven't touched my original dyson dryer, curling iron or flat iron since receiving this. My daughter is a proud beneficiary of the dryer now!! :) If you're on the fence...and funds allow, definitely buy it. You won't be disappointed.

A complete convert

Like a lot of people, I was dubious and hesitant to spend the money. Then I tried my daughter's Air Wrap and was instantly converted. Mainly I like how good my hair looks 1-2 days after styling and I can do a quick refresh even after wearing a hat and sweating outside. I will say that the Dyson-sponsored tutorials aren't as helpful as some I found scanning YouTube. The non-sponsored helped me style by shoulder-length hair and some hacks so I didn't have to switch the curling heads.

I haven’t been able to get the long hair attachments yet. I’m hoping that is the difference. My daughter’s pulled the hair in so nicely and made beautiful curls I just had to break the bank and buy one. Mine does not pull the hair in as well some hair winds in and some blows away from the wrap. Even with only a very small amount of hair. I’m really hoping it is just the length of the rod.
I’ll write another review after getting the long attachments.

Please make a larger round brush!!

I love this model…the switch on the new wrap stylers is so convenient and easy to use. I really with Dyson would make a larger (3”+) round brush attachment. The current brush does not grab hold of a lot of hair, and it takes me longer to dry my hair than my traditional dryer and round brush.
I would recommend this to a friend!

unfortunately all the hype did not hold up. cheap plastic material used and feels like it will break any moment. curls don’t hold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear you've found the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler Complete to be such a disappointing purchase. We would not expect to hear that the Airwrap feels like it's made cheaply, or with materials that would be prone to breakage. The main body is made from glass filled nylon and high performance polymers. The insides are made from material such as rubber seals, stainless steel and acrylic. Each Airwrap™ barrel is made from glass filled nylon. The brush is also made from glass filled nylon, with silicone and nylon bristles.
There can be a learning curve to getting curls to hold when using the Airwrap. We'd be happy to provide some styling or usage tips for you. Feel free to reach out to us at askdysonUS@dyson.com for assistance.

Absolutely satisfied with the air wrap multi-styler. I never thought I’d be able to dry and straighten/smooth or curl my hair so quickly. Additionally, my hair does not feel damaged or fried afterwards. 100 % recommend this product, however, that is only if you have made sure all of your bills are paid, you have money in savings, and have the extra cash for this.
