I couldn’t believe how much I love the Airwrap. I am still trying to learn to use it but love the shine and smoothness. I get a lot of compliments how soft and shiny my hair is. Looking to add the Corrale one day.

I have shoulder-length grey hair and like many women with grey hair, I have to be careful about too much heat which can make your hair turn yellow. I also like to curl my hair for special events, so until now I was using a standard curling iron. Well......I just found my new best friend! The moment I turned my Dyson Airwrap multi-styler on and realized how very quiet it is, I was impressed! It took a couple of times to practice with the curling attachments before I got the hang of it, (pinning your hair into sections REALLY helps) but now I find that it does a better job in less time. I use a little bit of healing oil so my hair comes out shiny and, if I dare say so myself, a bit glamorous! My husband exclaimed how beautiful my hair looked the first time I used the curler. The regular brushes are great also if you want just a sleek look. At the end of the day, if I need a little freshening up, I just spritz a tiny bit of water on the sections that need it, and re-curl. Takes just a minute and works beautifully. For some reason, mine did not come with the Coanda Smoothing Dryer. I think it would be extremely useful, so I am going to find out if I can get one. Thank you Dyson for this amazing game changer!

Neat...but a few issues for curly hair..

The new model is easier to operate than the first generation of Airwrap. It is easy to create curl and bump out styles like shown in the videos.. BUT if your curl requires tension to blow it out, this machine does not have that. I cannot go wash to curl. In order for my curl to stay smooth, I am washing and then completing a traditional blow out with a round brush.. on the 2nd or 3rd day, I can dampen my still straight hair and then add curl in. My hair has to be straightened with a tension creating round brush first. Airwrap alone does not do a good job.

Great for the amateur at home

I researched this multi-styler and knew it was an investment. I opted for a refurbished model and it looks excellent, without any visible wear and tear. I've been watching videos and slowly trying out various attachments. My favorite is the wide barrel roller. This is the closest I've been able to come at home to the look of a bouncy blowout, and I highly recommend it to other amateur users. I'm not skilled with styling tools and never learned to curl my hair. I have a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer but this serves a different need. My main tip is to watch lots of videos and dry the hair well but not completely. Then the air/heat styling sets well. And it will not look as "set" or hold as long as purely heat-based styling such as a salon blowout, but it is better for your hair based on what I've read.

Fast dry

I was so exited about this product but sadly not satisfied I will continue to try playing with it. The beautiful curls just don’t last but a few minutes. I’ve gone on reading articles to see and find help to make it last but have yet to find anything

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.

The jury is still out!

I purchased a Dyson Airwarp hoping to avoid having Brizillian Blowouts every 6 months. I am now learning how to use all the attachments and which ones work best for my hair, I am finding that I have to use 3 or 4 different attachment to achieve straight hair. I am hoping that as I get better in using the tool, I can reduce the need to keep changing attachments. So far I really like it and I will love it as soon as I figure out how to simplify my process.

As a hairstylist I appreciate the efficiency of this dryer and paddle brushes. My styling time has been cut in half and I am forever grateful! There is a learning curve but it’s not hard to navigate. I was enjoying both barrel attachments for added body but now they are making a noise that isn’t right and aren’t intaking air like before. They aren’t dirty or clogged so I’m guessing it’s a manufacturing issue. Besides that I have been enjoying using this tool. I love my Dyson dryer and flat iron as well!
