Great investment for my thick Asian hair. Easy to curl and style with round brush. Drying is super fast making it convenient for workday!

I bought this as soon as the email hit that the new version was being released. I was extremely excited. I think that’s just why I was a little let down. I feel like there is just a little too much hype around this product. It does a good job but you still need a dryer to get your hair 3/4 the way dry before you can style it. I like it, but don’t think it’s worth the price tag as of right now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The re-engineered Dyson Airwrap does include the Coanda smoothing dryer which offers multiple modes in one attachment, for ease of styling. Quickly taking your hair from wet to damp in pre-style mode or you can finish your style by hiding flyaways in smoothing mode.

Very expensive device that does nothing more than a regular hair dryer. I have long, thick hair that is very cooperative. I’ve been blowing out my hair for 20 years, so I am hesitant to say this is user error. My revlon styler works a million times better than this, at a fraction of the cost. Don’t waste your money.

My hair never looked better!

I ordered this for my birthday (12/7) and it was “in stock”. After a lot of back and forth with customer service, it was apparently “out of stock” but it did ship on 12/20 and it arrived on 12/21. It arrived in perfect condition, unboxing was a luxurious experience, and using it for the first time was SO SIMPLE after watching the “getting started” videos on the dyson app.
I showered and washed my hair, used the drying attachment to about 75/80% dry and then used the smaller barrel to start curling my hair. I didn’t use any products because I wanted to see how well the style holds. My curls did hold all day from 7am until 9pm ish with no help. my hair has never felt softer, healthier, and more voluminous than it does. No curling iron has ever achieved this look for me. (For reference, I have medium length hair, medium fullness, and naturally wavy)
I was on the fence for over a year and finally committed. I’m SO happy and recommend to everyone.

I finally broke down and bought one! I have straight fine hair. I love the dryer and the volume brush and the way it makes my hair feel. My hair is too short for the barrels included in the multi styler. I would like to buy a smaller one but it is sold out right now.

Not enough tension to smooth waves
