Not sure why one of the reviews said holds a curl maybe 10 minutes? My fine straight hair holds the curl all day and then some. I do admit that I have to very lightly spay a bit of water toward the ends of my hair to slightly dampen before curling for the curls to last all day. I absolutely love this!

Didn’t meet potential

I bought this because I love my supersonic hairdryer and was excited about a tool that can achieve so many different styles that is light, allows for one-handed use (most of the time) and protects my hair from extensive heat damage. I got the hang of the way to use the air wrap barrels and the attachments (it is fun to watch your hair get wrapped up!). However. In spite of my sectioning, use of cool shot and use of styling products: my hair wouldn’t hold a curl as it normally would with my beachwaver or curling wand. And the round brush attachment is still not as effective as my supersonic and round brush. It’s a beautiful, well built machine and I am hopeful that eventually, another version will be developed that can replace the other tools I use that work more effectively. I returned this because for the investment: it should achieve what other tools regularly accomplish.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls.

A Marvel for Hair Care

The technological thinking given on this product is so revolutionary and impressive. It surpasses all other tools for hair styling and care in terms of utility and flexibility. The only downside is the exuberant price that many people cannot afford this "luxury" item. Unfortunately, there will be many "imitators" or "knock-offs" that may not deliver the same quality results.

Love this product! I went from soaking wet, out of the shower hair, to loose curls that stayed for 3 days in about 20 minutes.

Great hair styler

I resisted getting one, but caved and I'm so glad that I did. I can style my hair so much easier and quicker than using a blow dryer and brush or curling iron. And my hair is so soft after too. I am very pleased.

I have thick wavy frizzy hair. I was afraid this like many other tools wouldn’t stand up to the job but it does! My only complaint is it could be more ergonomic in the handle portion
