Not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has been giving myself blowouts for years I was so disappointed in this product. The packaging is amazing the quality of the products are amazing, but unless you have thin relatively straight hair this isn’t going to work for you the way you want it. It took me 10 tries before I got the hang of it and even then 30 minutes later the style would completely fall out and I would be left with a frizz ball mess. The concept of this is great but it’s just not enough heat to hold any style even when pairing with products. The only attachment I really liked was the smaller round brush barrel and I wish it was larger to accommodate women with thick hair. Unfortunately I have to return which was disappointing over how excited I was to finally get one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed due to hair damage

I’ve been using the airwrap for about 1 month now and have been impressed with its capabilities. However I am extremely disappointed with the unexpected damage it has caused. This tool consistently rips out my hair. There is a seam between the base and the attachment where hair can get caught very easily. When this happens, the tool will break the strands of hair or rip them out entirely (see image). This has occurred with all of the attachments except the standard blow drying one. After I finish blow drying, there is hair all over my bathroom and stuck in the device. The breakage looks horrible! After blow drying I’m left with a bunch of little antenna-like hairs sticking straight up off my head. This has occurred with every use, regardless of how careful I am. I’m so sad because this product would be great if it weren’t for the damage it causes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We definitely wouldn't expect to see or hear that any part of the Airwrap is catching your hair, causing breakage. You didn't happen to mention if this occurs when the hair is damp, or once it's dry, or if you're finding that it's occurring no matter which stage of the styling process you're in.

There is a small learning curve. The first time I used it I wasn’t so sure what I thought as hair I already curled kept getting pulled around it again. I had to slow dow and focus and now I have it down. I have hard to curl thick course hair and these curls last a couple days. The process is super quick. The straightening brush does a good job but not quite as sleek as a flat iron for a finished look. Still really good.
