Curls don’t stay (Asian Hair)

I really tried to give the air wrap a chance. I’ve watched several tutorials. Tried various products to make the curls stay, but they fall out within a few hours of just relaxing at home. Seriously, I’ve tried fully dried hair, damp hair, the hot setting then sealed with the cool setting, only the hot setting, longer time blowing on the hair…nothing makes them stay.
I have Asian hair, but I would like to point out that my hair texture is on the thinner side compared to other Asian. I can’t imagine how easily the curls would fall out with thicker Asian hair.
I do love how smooth and blown out my hair looks when I used the smoothing brushes…but not sure if it’s worth this price tag when the regular blow dryer is much stronger than this one, which results in faster drying time. I’m really conflicted about this purchase…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely LOVE my air wrap. A lot of people think the price for it is expensive and it is but it is SO worth it. My hair looks better then it’s ever looked and it gives me a boost of confidence. Even just using the brush and straightening my hair makes a world of difference. The best part is that my hair lasts for 2-3 days after styling. This is super worth it. Also for people giving them a 1 start review because they didn’t receive the right product or because they’re not available… that is not a valid review. Contact customer service!!

Great for fine asian hair

Husband surprised me with this as a late anniversary gift. My hair styling skills have historically been lacking, including not being good at using traditional curling irons. I was worried because a lot of people say there is a huge learning curve but I surprisingly found it very intuitive to use. Additionally, it gives me awesome volume and curls. Only wish I got the version with the longer barrels even though I only have bra strap length hair but I am just happy to get one considering how this is always out of stock. For the style to last, I did have to experiment with different hair products and I found I got the best results with some sort of primer/heat protector and styling cream (and/or texturizing wave spray) as well as medium hold hair spray at the end.

You spend this much on a styler and you hope it will be worth it. Ladies, it’s worth it!!! OMG Wow. It styles super fast and it is very easy to do. It takes me less than half the time to get ready. I absolutely love it. Even if I had to buy it every 2-3 years, I’d do it. I don’t think I can live without this airwrap. It’s that good. Go get one! You won’t be sorry.
