Best product EVER

Everything about the air wrap is perfect. I’m a hairstylist and the last thing I want to do after a long day of taking care of others hair, is do my own. I look forward to doing my own hair again and feeling great after using this.

Easy to use and works well

Love using it and never been able to get these results with my ridiculously straight Japanese hair.
Only feedback (one star deduction), it shuts off randomly and you have to reset it or wait for it to decide to turn on. I’ve had it for 2 weeks. I keep the filter on the bottom clean and unobstructed but this still happens.
Secondly, wish there were options to store or hang on the wall for easier use than just leaving it in the box it comes with.

Good but not great

I really had hopes for the airwrap! I splurged and finally decided to treat myself with it. I love the simplicity of the machine and how light and easy it is to use, however, every style I have tried in my hair will not hold. It is always flat within 1 hour. I tried every trick there is and watched videos but nothing works. I have a lot of fine hair, so my hair type may be the issue. I’m going to keep trying to make it work and hope one day I find the key to keep my styles in!

Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear that you're not having a better experience with your Dyson Airwrap™ styler. The Airwrap does have a learning curve to it. We're thrilled to hear that you found it simple and lightweight to use. It's disappointing to hear we didn't hit the mark or usual standard with this styler for you.
For the best results, we do recommend starting with freshly washed hair. All of the brushes can be used on wet hair, and the barrels work best on damp hair. You can begin your styling session with dry hair, but you'll want to use a spray bottle of water to dampen each section as you go, to achieve the best results. Keeping curls locked in, especially with finer hair can take some work. If you do begin with wet hair, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. Also to note, ensure the curl is completely dry before releasing, as a damp curl will not hold. You can also experiment with a styling or setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

Excellent!

I have fine thin hair that does not hold a curl, this machine is a miracle! My hair not only holds a curl it has varoom volume! I can style my hair in 5 minutes flat. I used it to style my friend’s hair, she has really thick hair. Usually it takes her over an hour to dry and style her hair, it took me 15 minutes, seriously! She was amazed! The how to videos are great, it does take practice at first, don’t give up! Buy it!!

Unique Product!

I’ve been wanting to try the Airwrap since it hit the market. I just couldn’t catch them in stock. My husband bought me the hairdryer when they first came out and I love it. They are really time savers when you spend time on your hair. Features are great and the Special Edition is Beautiful!

I have really coarse, thin, damaged hair that is prone to frizz. It usually takes over an hour to dry and style (either straight or curls) my hair. With the AirWrap, I can do a full style in 30min! I love this this! If I’m straightening it, I do have to touch up the hair around my face with a flat iron. After styling with the AirWrap my hair feels much lighter and almost bouncy. It doesn’t feel damaged like after using a blow dryer and flat/curling iron.

Was hesitant but OBSESSED!

For the heavy price tag, I was very hesitant to buy this. I would say that I am SO satisfied with the complete set, as it meets different needs. It serves as a curler, blow drier, and almost a straightener with how well the different brushes work. The color is beautiful as well! I definitely need practice using the curling tools and it will take time, but my hair is so much smoother and healthier than it was when I used a Chi blow dryer and Bioionic curler!! I would recommend watching videos for tips!

I want to love this so much

I watched every video multiple times and my hair continues to remain frizzy at the scalp and my curls fall out within an hour. I want to love this, especially because I know it’s not damaging my hair, but I really just miss my old curling iron.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling.
