Where was this product all my life

I purchased this back in September, for myself. In the beginning I did have some buyer’s remorse, then I used it for the first time and worth every dollar. I have extremely curly, think and long hair. It could take me up to an hour to have my hair damp dry with store bought hair dryer. I had my hair chemically straightened and she told me that I had to blow dry my hair 100% dry. I freaked out because it took so long to dry my hair. I purchased the Dyson air wrap, and it took me 15mins to dry and style. If you think about buying don’t; just buy it, you won’t regret it.

I wanted to love it

I've had the set for 3 weeks. I've never washed my hair so many times in order to keep trying it but in the end, when I went out to dinner and a show and needed my hair to look good, I went back to my old styler. Not worth the money, frustration with the learning curve or the disappointment that it just doesn't smooth my curly hair to the root or leave a lasting curl with either of the size barrels. I had to try it though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Sandy, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear that you've had a frustrating experience with your Airwrap™ styler, thus far in your use. There definitely is a learning curve with this styler, and all of the attachments can take some time getting used to. It sounds like you always begin a styling session with freshly washed hair. While that's perfectly ok, and you can use the pre-styling dryer to get your hair to the damp stage and ready to style, you can also begin with dry hair. When styling, you can section your hair, and use a spray bottle of water to dampen each section as you go. If you're using the brushes to style, those can be used on wet hair (the barrels work best when hair is damp).
Curls can be tricky too. If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

I waited quite a while to get this because I thought it was too pricey and didn’t know if it was worth the investment. I have a friend that has the most beautiful hair, and when I asked her how she gets it to stay so curly and beautiful all day she told me it was the Dyson Airwrap! And now I am here telling you that it 120% is worth the cost AND I have also purchased multiple attachments! If you are on the fence, do it! My hair is very long, past my waistline so I grabbed the extended length barrels which are perfect for my length of hair! I have received SO many compliments on the health and beauty of my hair! And the color is beautiful!

It’s amazing

I am a professional hair dresser and I bought and use this for my personal use it’s so amazing . If anyone doesn’t like it then they are just not using it correctly . There are attachments that click on depending on what side of your head your curling that way it goes in the correct direction and attaches to the tool. The hair wraps itself . Super cool

I love my Dyson Airwrap, I have it a 4 star because the two brushes I find useless and I wish they had a bigger round brush but other than that I love my styler

There Is A Learning Curve, But You Will Love It!

My friend has the fuchsia version and though it is nice, this style just feels SO LUXE. The finish is amazing and it has a bigger price tag for a hair tool, yes but truly this one feels worth it. The Fuschia like I said is good but this product feels like it's worth the price. There is a learning curve, so be patient and take the time to learn. Read the instructions and watch some videos, it really helps lol! I would keep trying if one of the attachments doesn't seem to work for you just keep trying, it took me 2-3 times to get comfortable with the round brush. Just take the jump, I know it seems like a lot but just take the leap, purchase it, you won't regret it. The only thing you will regret is not getting one.

Game changer in Styling

Finally, I don’t burn my neck when staying my hair in the back. The styler wraps my thin hair on it’s own but never burns or tangles any of the strands. Love it every time I use it.
The only thing I really don’t like is the color of the case and I don’t know that visually it would bother me this much. The box is nude and it’s paired with a pink/gray (iron/fuchsia) styler, that would make sense with a cooper set.
