So close...

I had very high expectations for this device bc I LOVE my Dyson dryer. I have severe neuropathy in my hands and the Dyson dryer was a real game changer for me with my blow outs. I'm very skilled with a round brush and dryer. The Dyson cut my drying time down to 4-6 minutes. I have wavy / curly hair. Arm pit length. With a dryer and brush combo I can achieve a smooth finish. Followed up with a quick flat iron, I'm locked in for a week.
So, I expected an easier go of it utilizing the smoothing brush on the Airwrap. I used the Dyson dryer to rough dry my hair (as directed) to 80% then switched to the Airwrap. I had to section my hair. It was very easy to do, but it took me longer over all. It also left my hair flyaway and static-y. This was resolved after a careful HOT flatiron. The next day my hair was a BIG HOT MESS. This never happens when I follow my usual routine. I had to re-wash. The pleasant surprise were the curling wands. They gave my hair a beautiful bend when I used them on dry hair, and HUGE curl when used on damp hair. However, this was also a one off hair style day. The next day I woke up a giant fuzz ball. I can achieve the same look with curling irons/wands that allow me to go days before I wash. So this device was a real miss for me. I feel this would only be a great device for someone who has no skill at all at doing their hair and expects to wash their hair daily. Otherwise... I would highly recomend the Dyson dryer. Worth every penny.

We were sorry to learn that your experience with the Airwrap wasn't as positive. I have personally felt like the Airwrap has more of a learning curve to it, given all the different tools and attachments, as well as how many different styles you're able to achieve. Some of the benefits of the Airwrap include the ability to create voluminous curls and waves, and smooth, straighter finishes. This is all achieved while using no extreme heat and the Coanda effect, which attracts hair to the bells and then wraps it for you.

Success without a learning curve!

At my urging, my husband bought me this for Christmas. I had no idea how much I would love this amazing styling tool!!! From the very first time I used it, I found that styling my hair was easy! I’ve never been able to style the back before, but now the front, the back, the sides, it all looks amazing! I am beyond pleased! Thank you Dyson! I’m obsessed!

I waited a while for this and ups on first use I no longer had any use for my curling iron or my Drybar dryer. My hair looks amazing w relatively no heat and I’m less time. Thank you!!!

Got a Christmas gift and I've never enjoyed drying my hair until I got this. It is the fastes and most effective dryer I have ever had. And leaves my hair so smooth and perfect!
