Absolutely In Love with my Airwrap

I have fine medium length hair and often times my curl will leave within the first half of the day. I have lost a lot of shine as I get older and body in my hair. With the Dyson air wrap system, I have new health shine, and body to my hair that I have never had before. I want to order one of these for every one of my daughters!

Curls DO NOT last!!! The best thing is the round brush and blow dryer.

The Airwrap is fun to use, and adds crazy volume BUT, if you have smooth hair like me, none of the styles will last, and the volume will eventually fall. You need to overload on hair products to keep the curls. I've had my Dyson for 2.5 months, and I thought about returning it at first because my curls wouldn't stay. I would section my hair, and after I'd finish 1 section to start the next, all the curls had fallen already. It was a bit frustrating. I wanted to love it so bad, but honestly, it is just an okay product. You can do without it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not work on my hair

I tried to use this several times, my hair is very fine but it would not hold a curl so I gave it to my daughter who has very very very sick care and it’s down to her waist, she tried to use it and it did not stay in her hair either no matter what products she used and she’s a beautician. She tried to use it on both of her daughters hair and neither one could hold a curl because this only lasts temporarily and then go straight with it an hour or two
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

In LOVE with this revolutionary product!!!

My whole life, I've had a love-hate relationship with my hair. While I love my long, straight black locks, I never really knew what to "do" with them. So 99% of the time, I go the lazy route and just wear my hair plainly after a quick morning brush-through. And don't even get me started on curling devices -- I've tried half a dozen curling wands and irons over the years, and could never achieve a flattering look. So, as soon as I saw the ad videos for the Dyson Airwrap styler, I was OBSESSED! First off, the cutting-edge airflow technology just seemed really cool. I, like everyone else, was intrigued by the video of the hair strand wrapping itself around the curling barrel. But I immediately questioned if this product was "too good to be true." To get more info, I watched several YouTube videos of bloggers using the Airwrap styler, with an overwhelming majority expressing positive reviews. I decided I just had to try it for myself. Lucky for me, the device comes in my favorite color (pink). I've got to say the styler did not disappoint. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use, and how light it is to hold. I was worried there would be a big learning curve involved and that I would get discouraged (for example, with knowing the correct dampness the hair needs to be). But you get the hang of it after the 2nd or 3rd use. My favorite attachments are the smoothing brush and the larger barrel curlers. I use the styler after every time I wash my hair, so 2-3 times/week. I opt to not use hairspray (I don't like how it makes my hair feel), and yet the curls are still visible until the next time I wash my hair. My favorite part is: if you use the curling barrels, over the course of the next 2-3 days, the "curls" smooth out into gorgeous waves. It's my favorite little beauty trick! The entire kit comes in a gorgeous brown leather-like case. The only complaint I have about the entire product is that the brown carrying case does not have a handle on top for easy carry. Other than that, this product is an easy 10/10! Dyson, you are all geniuses for this one!

So easy to use

I’ve been using my new Airwrap for the last few weeks and I don’t regret my purchase one bit. I was afraid that it would be too advanced for someone who casually does their hair once in a while, but the learning curve wasn’t that difficult and have been straightening/curling my hair all the time since buying it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So easy!

I'm over 65, this dryer is lightweight and easy for me to hold. I can direct the air flow while being able to change the settings without looking. The way it wraps your hair is amazing and releasing the curl is simple with no tangles, it's easier than removing electric rollers or unrolling a curling iron. Even at the highest airflow setting, it's more quiet than any hair dryer I've ever owned. I think it's great! Thank you Dyson!

I debated for a long time before purchase as It was expensive, but I am very happy that I finally took the leap. I opted to purchase a refurbished model to save money!
I have fine curly hair that frizzes easily and this has made a huge difference in the look and feel of my hair. My old method of styling my hair would damage my hair and now it’s smooth, fluffy, and soft. There is a learning curve and the tutorials helped but it didn't take long to master the technique. It takes me less time to style my hair and I love the results. This was worth the purchase.

Still getting used to it but happy

I don’t have long hair and most all enclosed attachments are for long hair except the drying attachment. I ordered a couple attachments for shorter hair and am getting used to all the attachments and how they work for my hair length. I have the Dyson hair dryer and though it works well, it’s getting heavy to hold when doing the back of my hair. The styler certainly cuts drying and styling time in half! So this is a good thing. Mr Dyson is a genius with no exaggeration!
