Disappointing! No Quality control?

I bought my airwrap a month ago, used it twice and then in the middle of styling- it blinks red shuts off and won't turn back on. I have cleaned the filter..troubleshooted the machine and contacted support for an exchange that won't come for another month? Highly disappointed in the price of this machine (being so excited for quality and ease of styling) and then it being faulty not even a month in. Now waiting weeks for a new one...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not hold curl on straight hair

I have long, straight hair and cannot hold any texture for more than an hour. I’ve used a plethora of products and use the cool shot/do everything I was told to do. I would rather have a little heat damage from a curling wand than “less” heat damage from the airwrap. It still gets fairly hot. Absolutely not worth the money and I wish I would have really tried to use it before my return window closed so I could return it :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to hear that you're not having a better experience thus far with your Dyson Airwrap™ styler, and have found that your curls aren't holding. The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner!

So easy to use, I can dry and style my hair in less than 20 minutes! I have purchased so many other styling tools trying not to spend this amount of money but in reality I’ve spent more and been less satisfied and have done so much more damage to my hair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not for Long Hair

I bought this a few months ago and I am very disappointed in the performance. I have long, straight hair and initially when I used the airwrap it was fun; gave me semi-decent curls, but they only lasted 30ish minutes. I bought the highest rated hairspray to use in hopes that would hold them longer, and no luck. I see there are additional attachments to buy that are longer, but I already spent so much on the styler, so no thanks. For all the other lovely ladies that have long hair, don't waste your money.

Right ! This is game changer !!

I waited for red air wrap for a while, and finally got it. It doesn’t need long time for me to get used to handling this. So easy and so fast to dry and styling my hair. I got lots compliments that saying looks like come from hair salon. I recommended air wrap to several friends but they found out it’s sold out and back order in lots places. Sorry..

This was recommended to me by a friend and I can’t thank her enough. Mine fine long hair that doesn’t hold curl well now looks professionally blown many times a week. Plus it’s easy to use. So worth every penny!
