Disappointed

It never worked as well as the hype suggested it would. My curls never held... and I've never had issues with that. The power shorted all the time and then it finally shorted for good ... within a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.
We would not expect to hear that the Airwrap is shutting off during use, or no longer holding power. Dyson Airwrap styler is amazing. It dries my hair superfast and easily. I no longer break a sweat or overheat while styling my hair. I love all the attachments to achieve different looks. It is so easy to use and so much faster than my old products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great but......

I'm giving it a 3 only because I don't like that I still have to buy the long barrels to use for my hair. There should be an option to by the set with long or short barrels. I mainly purchased it to curl my hair and found that the short barrels don't work for me. Not sure if I will return it.

Some suggestions

You should make a kit just for curling the hair where you include the longer round barrel attachments for curling. I think that at this price we should at least be able to choose which attachments are most beneficial for each individual. It would be nice to exchange the ones that we will never use for ones that will benefit the customer. Personally, I will never use the brush and the dryer.

Postpartum Lifesaver

I debated on spending the money on this, but I am so glad I did. It makes every other hair tool obsolete. I really thought that my hair would never look beautiful again after having a baby. My hair is falling out, texturally different, and well I just don’t have the time anymore. This has changed my life in the best way. This product made me feel like myself again. THANK YOU DYSON! I wish you had a campaign for new moms because this tool does it all.

I bought the airwrap about two weeks ago. I love all of it. I still use my regular hair dryer to dry my hair after I wash it. Then I use the air wrap to style. GAME CHANGER! I put a little soft hold hair spray before I airwrap and my curls hang on for 3 to 4 days. Love love the round brush and the dryer attachment is great to use in between hair washes on sweaty or strands that get damp in the shower. I bought mine refurbished and I am a little worried about the durability.... but so far it's great! I have long hair that is thin and fine.

Fixing my hair has never been faster or easier and my hair looks like a professional had styled it. I only wish the flyaway attachment was interchangeable with the hair wrap system.
