Out of This World!

I have owned the Airwrap Complete for a few weeks now and just had to take the time to write a review. It is a major, major, game changer in drying/styling one's hair. Unbelievable! My hair has NEVER looked this healthy, shiny, and beautifully styled in my life (I'm 63 years old). I now could not be without it, love it, and couldn't recommend it enough to everyone. Definitely worth the price. Love, love, love it!!!!

Got this thinking I might have to return it because I thought it might be too involved and difficult. I couldn’t be more wrong! I love it! Watching YouTube videos did help making it super easy! I’ll be keeping it and recommending it to others!

Not for my hair

After watching all kinds of video reviews how straightforward and easy it looked. I thought hey easy peasy I can do that. When I dried my hair to damp, it was FRIZZY! Curling it only kind of helped the ends but not by the roots, tried a little styling oil to help. But by then end of the day, no curls and a whole lot of frizzy. I have tried more then once but end up with similar results. A lot of money for a lot of nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Dyson Airwrap™ Complete Styler was designed for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves, or a smooth finish. Dyson Airwrap™ wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls.
The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls. When taking your hair from wet to damp, you may wish to use a brush of your fingers to control the hair while drying it. The dryer, when held away from your hair, can cause the hair to move all around, causing tangles and frizz.

Excellent tool with minor tweaks for curly hair

Purchased this a month ago to style my hair during the covid-19 shelter from home orders in NYC. I have curly hair and was skeptical but this tool proved to be great. My only gripe is that I wish the Firm smoothing brush came in a round version to create more tension in curly hair for better root straightening. (Exact same brush just round in shape vs. the current paddle style) I usually have to go back through lightly with a flat iron to get the last waves out of my roots. But it dries my hair in 15 mins!!

Got it fast. Easy use. Love my dyson airwrap. If you could get hold of one buy it right away. It sells out fast. Worth it. I'm no expert in styling but this made it easy like I'm a pro.
