Miracle! Time saver!

I have extremely thick hair and I am able to curl it in 8 minutes! It used to take me up to 2 hours to curl my hair with a traditional curling iron. This is amazing! I get compliments all the time and it is finally easy to style my hair now! The curls last for days and it is easy to touch up if needed. A must have!

Not the thing for taming “growing in” hair

My curly hair is growing out from a short cut and is currently chin length. I had hoped that the Hairwrap would help me tame the curls as the cut grew in. As one needs 4” of “extra” hair in order to use the wrap attachment, this is NOT the product for those growing our hair. I then tried the smoother attachment and while slightly better, it’s still marginal. I’m hoping to try it when I have more hair!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dyson Airwrap™ wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls.
I can confirm that on shorter hair, if you're intention is to use the barrels, there would need to be enough length there for the barrels to grasp the hair and wrap the hair around to achieve the curl you're looking for. So glad I took the plunge and bought the Airwrap!

I love the airwrap! The drying attachment and brushes dry my hair so much better than my traditional hair dryer. It is much faster and my hair is very smooth afterwards. The curling barrels are amazing! I am not big on doing my hair, makeup, etc. I am beauty challenged and have never been able to achieve natural, beachy looking curls and waves, so my hair was always straight. The Airwave makes it so easy and fast to achieve that look. I have never done my hair more in my life because the Airwrap makes it so easy for a novice like me to get a salon quality look. I have med/long hair and the shirt barrels work great. I can’t wait to purchase the long barrels and try them. The Airwrap was 100% worth the investment for me! Highly recommend!

Does not work for thick hair

Regardless of attachment used, my hair is still frizzy. I have tried multiple attachments and hair products. Unable to return because I bought it refurbished.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great accept it keeps shutting off

I really love what this tool can do. It does exactly as it says it does. It's a dream hair tool. My only complaint is that intermittently it will shut off. I have tried cleaning the filter but having only had it for two days I doubt that it was that clogged. I have unplugged it and let it cool down. It has a weird burning wire smell. I thought possibly I was accidentally blocking the air intake during styling, so will give it another shot tomorrow. However, when it works properly it is amazing!

Pricey, but worth it!

I've been very pleased with this styling tool for the two weeks I’ve been using it. I'm still learning the ropes and hope to get the beach waves to last longer, but even tho' they relax a lot by the end of the day my hair maintains extra body and some wave until I wash it again, which could be 4 days or even 7. I will experiment with different heat protector products to see if another one works better.

So great, worth every penny

Love this set! Treated myself to it for a graduation gift. I tend not to use heated products because I don't want to damage my hair. This was a perfect fit for me. I am able to manage the heat setting nicely, it dries my hair quickly, I'm able to curl it, comb it..everything except straighten it (which I ended up getting the Dyson straightener to solve that problem). The only thing I don't love about it is the color combo. This was an investment item so I plan on having it for the next 15+ years. My last hair dryer, curling iron, and straightener lasted me about 13 years. I can see and feel the quality in this item so I can imagine it lasting a long time. Worth the investment!

Worth Every Penny

I’ve had this for over one month now, and I’m still amazed at what this has done for my hair. I have beaded row extensions, and I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to meld my natural hair with the extension hair. This has not been a problem. My husband is also very frugal and was extremely frustrated how much money I paid for this at first. He’s even a believer. I have naturally thinning Caucasian hair with frizz and slight curls. The extension hair is Bohyme straight hair if that helps any of you out!
