Disappointed

I’m sorry! I wanted to LOVE this styler.. however it has been disappointing with every use. My hair is really manageable and I figured this would be a fun tool to use. However, it’s leaving my hair heavy and greasy looking causing me to wash it twice as much as I normally do. I’ve tried many different methods of use and watched tons of YouTube videos, but it’s always a heavy mess after any attempt. I don’t recommend this product because my hair is so easy and it usually takes days to become greasy.. if I had coarse or unmanageable hair, it would be different. But I spent a great deal of money on something that just falls short of a typical hair dryer & curling wand combo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is certainly very unusual, as well as unexpected, to hear that in your use, the Airwrap left your hair feeling greasy. Dyson Airwrap™ wraps entirely through the use of airflow and the naturally occurring phenomenon of the Coanda effect. Air, when propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air. The Dyson Airwrap™ styler creates a spinning vortex of air around the barrel that attracts, wraps and curls hair. The combination of damp hair, airflow and not applying extreme heat to hair during the drying process helps to lock in your style, whether you're looking for a straight finish, waves or curls. You may find that experimenting with any pre- or post-styling products being used will change the texture and appearance of your hair.

Okay... if you are having any doubts, walk away from this web page come back and buy this product. You will have no doubts when you walk out of your bathroom feeling better than when you leave the salon! My only regret is that I did not purchase this sooner. It is so easy to use! The results are fabulous. If I could get this for all of my friends I SO would. Thanks Dyson!

Perfect Curls

This was a present for my wife and I was totally in trouble until she used it one time. She loved it from the first time and always has beautiful curls….. her hair is healthy and growing now. No more flat iron or curling irons. Amazing what it does.

I bought my Dyson Airwrap 2 months ago and I couldn't t be happier, its easy to handle and simple to use, I highly recommend this product to everyone especially hairdressers.

Broke after 6 months

I bought a brand new Dyson airwrap in November 2021 and in May 2022 the filter light started to flash and the machine stopped working after using a few seconds (literally sometimes after less than one second).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you're seeing the filter light flash on your Airwrap, that will be there to alert you to clean the filter. That is regular machine maintenance that will need to be carried out on a regular basis to ensure that the filter area is kept clear of any dust, or even hair care product build-up. Keeping the filter clean will also allow optimal airflow to keep your Airwrap working as intended. Yep, doesn’t work on fine hair

I have very thick and fine hair. It took forever to curl, first, because it only allows very small sections at a time. Even after all that time, it did not hold the curl at all.I would have saved a lot more time just blow drying it and then curling it with a regular curling iron and having it last, at least. I tacked on an extra star because it did make the curl stay in my daughter’s hair, who has mixed race hair. But it took so long to do it, it just wasn’t worth it. Sending back.

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If you're experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.

I have Airwrap around 1 month and loving it every day more and more. Easy to use, lightweight (previous I had Babyliss Pro) and quite silent working. If you are still thinking to buy or not, so don’t think anymore. This is my best dessicion. My hair are really long, but classic wrap is great. Idon’t wanna use any other hairdryers so I’m taking my airwrap even to gym.
I would recommend this to a friend!
