Got my Dyson for Christmas from hubby! I can’t believe how fast and easy it is to dry and style my hair! No products and especially no more flat iron and damage to my super fine hair! Love it!

I love love Dyson airwrap. It cuts down styling time and gives great end result. I would recommend this product to anyone who want to achieve great result without damaging hair.

I have no idea how anyone could give this less than 5 stars. I look like I walked out of a salon every time I blow dry my hair. If anyone doesn't, they're doing it wrong. I LOVE it.

I've only used it twice since I bought it, but it shuts off after I go through less than a third of my hair and won't turn back on. It seems this seems to be a common problem with the airwrap, but that'd ridiculous given its price. I follow the instructions on Dyson's website to the t, so I doubt it's use error.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Massive damage to hair even using lowest settings.

First off, initially this styled my hair beautifully and seemed worth every penny. Like salon quality good and it was easy to use. However, I do wonder about rave reviews made too early on in it's use. After just a few days, following all Dyson advice and videos and even on the lowest settings, my hair started to feel dry and brittle.
Then I started to notice little pieces of broken hair all over the sink area. Soon I realized I had damage all over my head and began to have visible, broken pieces sticking up everywhere. I was exclusively using the gentle smoothing brush in the front and sides, and the round brush in the back. My hair was always pre-dried to about 80% (no heat) and well protected with heat protection and de-tangling sprays from Bb.
I have never, ever had this kind of damage with regular use of my previous hair dryer and metal round brushes. My hair is NOT treated in any way with chemicals and had just been grown out, so it was in wonderful shape. It's chin/shoulder length but there's so many pieces that are just a few inches long now that I'm afraid I'm going to have to get it cut quite short to get my hair back in the shape it was before trying the AirWrap.
I genuinely wish it had worked out. LOVED it at first. But it's shameful that it's sold as a less damaging product for all hair types. Even on low, it fried my hair and I regret getting it.
It's going to take a long time to grow out the damage.

Wish I would have just purchased the regular hairdryer

It’s not a bad product but I wish I just had the regular hair dryer. I have short hair (to my chin) and I find it hard to utilize the curling components. Which is why I bought it to be honest. The hair dryer is small enough to be a pain because it doesn’t dry quick enough. I don’t like the round brush better than my rotating round brush dryer and it leaves me with less volume overall. The hairbrush attachments are too big for my short (but not super short) hair. It just seems like this was designed for people with much longer hair than mine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The pre-styling dryer attachment was designed differently from our regular hair dryer. The attachment for the Airwrap is designed to take your hair from wet to damp - ready to style with the other attachments. It can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. While there isn’t specific length we'd recommend using this product on, it may be more challenging for very short hair (above the shoulder) or very long hair (below the lower back) to use the barrels to create the desired style.
