This product works but honestly it leaves me wondering why neither of the brush attachments have dual bristles (shorter boar bristles + longer plastic bristles). Dual bristles grab the hair much better and smooth & detangle at the same time. With the Dyson attachments you have either a round bristle brush, which I can't find a practical use for whatsoever, or 2 paddle brushes, both of which do basically the same thing. A paddle brush attachment that has a combo of those 2 types of bristles together would be great. I also purchased the re-engineered attachments, other than being able to switch the airflow on the barrels (therefore not needing 2 separate barrels) and possibly the smoothing part of the dryer attachment everything else is basically the same. On the brushes the difference is all rows are mobile now as opposed to the center row being stable and the rest mobile on the old ones. I feel like this actually gives me less control. Not too impressed with the re-engineering.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Now I get the hype

It is early days for me using the Airwrap however this is a very promising start. I can foresee that my hairstyling technique will improve as I get the hang of using the tools to ensure consistent looking curls. The second time I used it, my hair looked like I had just stepped out of a salon. the Airwrap does replace all the hair styling tools I have. I do own other Dyson technology, and I was pleased to see the Airwrap is made with the same attention to detail and high focus on convenience and functionality; everything clicks perfectly and is easy to use. This hair tool is above and beyond anything I’ve ever used to style my hair in the past.

Game changer

This device is a game changer. It use to take me 15 min. to just dry my hair that doesn’t include styling. Now I am completely done dry and style in 10-15 min. I love the different style choices it affords me and the speed I get ready now is amazing. In addition, my hair has gotten so much healthier because I haven’t been using devices that have higher temperatures. I hope Dyson offers even more barrel choices later that I can add.

I have extremely curly hair. I am Caucasian but my curls are like no other. Sometimes I just want to not wet my hair to have a decent hair day. I mainly wanted this for the straightening brush. Let me tell you...My husband saw me and was like wow! He was impressed!! Working out in cold weather I should wear my hair down and wear warm head gear. So having dry hair and managable hair is important. Or style just to style it differently. Thank you Dyson! I have bought the hair dryer when it first came out and now a new amazing product like I have always wanted!

I bought this almost 2 weeks ago and holy cow, what a game changer! I was really hesitant to spend the money at first and was mostly reading reviews and blog posts about it. But once I watched the “how to” videos on the site, I was like, “say less”! It took me about 10 minutes to get used to using the Coanda effect but after that, it was a piece of cake. Practice makes perfect so don’t expect to get the hang of it on your very first strand. It has shortened my drying and styling time by half! I have thick long hair and even though I choose to skip the “cold shot” to help set, my hair lasts for about 2-3 days styled. I love it!! I used to dread doing my hair because of how long the process was for me but now, I look forward to it. This is very well worth the money!

BEST at-home blowout EVER.

Long thick hair here so I'm usually working on my hair for a WHILE to get what I want.... but no longer!! This thing is a MAGICAL UNICORN HAIR maker. Best blowout feeling I've ever had- NOT from the salon!! It makes it so easy for you to get the style you want. HUGE fan! (Also the longer curling wands work MUCH better for us, so get those too!)
