Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought it 2 months ago it worked amazing but now it turns off shortly after turning it on…. I'm a hairstylist and I thought it was the best thing for my job. I'm not happy with the dyson, very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Airwrap does require routine maintenance to perform at the optimal level. The maintenance is outlined in the user manual, and depending on your usage, may need to be performed more often. However, it is super simple maintenance!

I’m a hairdresser and first my daughter bought one and I yelled at her for spending that much money. Until I used it and had to have one for myself! It’s amazing!

Pricey but so worth it

I have fine hair but lots of it and it tends to curl the wrong way about 5 minutes after I have dried it with a brush. Pointless trying to try again as my hair is stubborn. Along came the Dyson Airwrap and a miracle. My hair stays in shape, even on day 3 when I wash my hair anyway, despite it still looking good. I absolutely love it. So fast to dry and style. I use the hairdryer attachment to half dry my hair and then change to another attachment. My only gripe - Dyson, most of us love this styler and cannot survive without it. Please make a dual voltage version we can travel with. I know you want us to use it in the country we purchase but come on, this is 2021 - we travel internationally. Think customer satisfaction not just money. I cannot survive without it on vacation. You can make a smaller more basic version which forces us to buy both. I will happily pay for 2.

So not worth it

I have fine wavy thin hair and it so did not provide the results that it claims to provide. My hair becomes frizzy and remain wavy even if I use smoothing brush.. I do not recommend this for fine wavy hair at all

It's all I need now!

I went from about 8 tools down to one. I don't even need the hairdryer anymore or curling iron or flat iron. All I use is the Airwrap. It takes a while to get the hang of it, you feel a little clumsy at first, but once you figure it out, it's really great. I have fine hair and it gives me a lot more body, and I feel my hair is shinier with this the Airwrap too. And it's handy to get a squirt bottle and "re-do" an area or freshen up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick dry & great style, just wish it would last

I can manage to dry my here in less than 5 minutes with this thing, it’s crazy. The curler on the other hand, is starting to frustrate me. My hair will look INCREDIBLE for about 2 hours then it’s gone. I’ve tried every trick in the book- cold blast, slight damp here, product before and after… I’ve watched countless YouTube videos and can’t seem to get it to stick. Most likely going to end up returning it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth the hype. And then some.

This thing is just amazing. I had lots of reservations. My thought was that I’d get it, it wouldn’t be all it’s been hyped up to be and I’d return it while getting to feel smug. That’s not the case at all. I’m almost angry with how great this stupid thing is and that I’m happily parting with a ridiculous amount of money.
The curling option is magical. You cannot mess it up. The blow drying attachment dries hair quickly and is fairly quiet from the outside. The brush attachments are an excellent addition to the whole set. The box that they all come in replaced a huge tangled mess of tools in my bathroom.
I would recommend this to a friend!
