I didn’t go in with high hopes

i really wanted to hate this product. i went in with 0 expectations. i honestly bought it to use it and return it so i could say i tried it and it didn’t work. i have long, thick, frizzy hair. even when i curl my hair with a straightener it falls and i have to keep redoing them throughout the week. every video i’ve also seen has been of people with good hair. it really has exceeded my expectations. the blow dryer attachment really does have a lot of power. the brush i use for my roots so it can be straight. then i get to the curling. which i have to admit, is pretty easy to maneuver even if you don’t read instructions or watch videos. my first try i curled them incorrect, but i only realized that when they dropped. but i was not upset at all because wow. the volume on this hair!? without using any products too!!! i am beyond obsessed and impressed. if i had one complaint, it would be that you have to keep removing the hot attachment when you curl the opposite side.. but it’s not even unbearable. i would totally recommend this product. it also works on dry hair. i know every video shows the progress into hairstyling after you wash your hair, but it works just as well when you have next day retouch.

Worth the price

This thing is amazing! I’m not great with styling my hair but I don’t have to be with the air wrap. My hair looks great, looks soft and smooth, and is super easy to use. Definitely worth the cost! Glad I bought it!

Amazing! Worth Every Penny!

I have been using the air wrap for over a month now and I LOVE it. The air wrap saves me so much time. A quick blow dry and a few curls and I am out the door. No more burning myself or my hair with a curling iron. Plus it is quieter and faster than a blow dryer. I am still experimenting with brush drying. Today I just used the hair brush curler and my hair looks good at the end of the day. How did I go so long without it!?!

Well worth the price. Saves me so much time and is easy to use once watching the tutorials that come with it!
Also always leaves my hair feeling like I just left the salon. All my friends love to use it!

I've only been using this for a short time but I love feeling like I'm saving myself from so much heat damage. There is definitely a learning curve but it's still amazing!

The Dyson Airwrap is AS good as you think it's going to be. First of all, the packaging is beautiful. The tool itself is lightweight and the attachments are all wonderfully designed.
I have really fine hair and not a lot of it. Because of that, when it gets longer (yes, this is long for me), volume is key. Although it dries fast and takes styles well, doing my hair has always been the bane of my existence. I could never capture my stylist's blowout and had to use a straightener after the dryer to either straighten out frizz or add curls. Also, with really fine hair, heat damage is a major concern.
The photos I attached are from my first attempts at using the Dyson. It's really easy to get started and I'm sure, like everyone, you figure out what works for you. So far, I've loved the volumizing brush for a "textured blowout" or the 1.6" barrels to create curls or waves. I have used the soft smoothing brush as well, but I ended up only using it on my ends and started with the volumizing brush to add root volume.
For me, fully wet hair when using the volumizing brush is key. I will say, you want to make sure you really hit your root. My hair is prone to frizz so I noticed that I needed to go back after I fully styled my head and hit the roots again. Not a huge deal and now I know!
Yes, it is an expensive piece of equipment. For me, it's totally worth it. I don't dread styling my hair now and it's actually an enjoyable experience.
Also, I've experimented with wetting just the top section of a slept-on style and redoing just those pieces. Totally works well!
