I borrowed and used the Dyson airwrap for the first time on my long, coarse hair and it dried so quickly I was floored. Then when I used the curling attachments I was so impressed with the minimal amount of effort it took to curl my hair from the roots vs using a traditional curling iron. Left my hair with shiny, loose curls and lots of volume. And it didn’t pull any hair out!!! This Dyson product could replace all your hair care tools. Just need to save up for its hefty price tag.

Let me start by saying that my hair is super frizzy- my normal hair routine is to let the top part of my hair dry naturally (which takes about 2 hours), then blowout my hair, straighten the top, and curl the bottom. I’ve been doing this for the past 15-20 years. Tonight I tried the airwrap for the first time, after watching a few YouTube tutorials. From exiting the shower to finish, it took me 30 minutes to dry and style my hair. Keep in mind this is my first time ever using it, so I’m sure the timing will improve. NEVER in 15+ years have I been able to dry my hair straight out of the shower without it poofing up. This styler is worth every single cent. I’d pay double. Thank you Dyson, for developing a product that actually works on my hair. The endless search is over.

Very disappointed the attachments for the Supersonic doesn’t fit the Airwrap. Im using my flat iron a lot (which I was hoping not to) i just want a bend in the hair not a curl. So here it sits not being used

I'm sorry to read your review, and hear that you've been disappointed thus far in your use with the Dyson Airwrap™ styler, and not being able to use the Supersonic™ hair dryer attachments. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use Dyson Airwrap™ attachments with Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer attachments because they have a different attachment mechanism. The Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer uses magnetic attachments, while the Airwrap™ barrels use a lock in mechanism. It's also worth noting, Dyson Supersonic™ is for those who want fast drying and smooth, controlled styling with techniques and additional tools such as a brush, While the Dyson Airwrap™ styler is for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves or a smooth finish. Both units will serve different purposes and do differ from each other.

Went all the way to the Dyson Demo Store in VA

I was excited about owners 20% discount. Kept watching online but out of stock so I decided to try the Dyson Demo store. Best experience ever!! I could see and touch the product before purchasing. Then got it home and was able to use it right out of the gate!! This airwave does everything just as it advertises. I am old school 80’s hot curling iron girl. Never go anywhere with out it. I won’t be using the curling iron anymore. Super excited. Over 50 and loving this thing!!!

Have used this now about 4 times. I'm sure I need more practice butI'm convinced that all the research and videos I watched - those people are adept at styling their hair (I am not but would love to be!) and a lot are young who don't color their hair monthly. . Pros - like the fact the technology claims to cause less heat damage. Cons - I have trouble using the accessories effectively. Also, I live in Florida and have frizzy hair. I have tried a multitude of diff. hair products, but after styling my hair ultimitately gets wavy and frizzy again. I was hoping this dryer and styling tools would be a magic bullet - it is not for me. The price point is a bit crazy for a not so perfect review and I am still contemplating if I should keep it....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Working for long, thick hair

I’m very impressed at how well this is working on my hair. It’s very thick, pretty long and takes a very long time to dry. I like that I can air dry or blow dry with the regular attachment first and then still style it easily from damp to dry with any other attachment. I do wish the round brush was larger because my hair is so long but even that isn’t worth docking a star on my review. Definitely worth the money if you have hard-to-tame hair!
