Perfect for thinning short hair

I am over 70 and have fine short thinning hair. I needed a styler that would not damage my hair any further and stylet without winding it around a bristle brush. I am absolutely thrilled with the results I am receiving from this Dyson air wrap styler. I took a chance ordering it because I could find no review for anyone that did not have long beautiful hair but it paid off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Curls fall within 10 minutes after setting them no matter how you do it. Tool get hot. Dryer part is nice but will make hair frizz. If you have any layers this is definitely not for you

Hello Connie, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If your experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls. Not for curly hair

I have curly hair, but every once in a while I like straightening and curling/styling my hair as well. This doesn’t really allow you to do that. Despite the amount of product I use, it ends up a frizzy mess. Not great, unfortunately, for the price.

I wanted to hate it, but I Loved it!

I received my Dyson Airwrap Complete as a Christmas gift. It was out of stock in December 2021, so I just received it in February. I really wanted to hate it, but instead, I loved it. Because it isn't high heat, or require a lot of tugging and pulling like regular hair tools, I lose less hair, and my hair looks significantly healthier. There is a bit of a learning curve to using the attachments, but I think I will catch on quickly. The only disappointing thing is that Dyson does not allow the buyer to choose the long barrel over the short barrel. I have waist length hair, and really need the longer barrel. For the price of the Airwrap Complete, it should include the longer barrels as well as the short barrels, or at least offer an option to choose which one we want.

While their customer service is by far the best I’ve experienced, I am not happy with my air wrap complete. I’ve used every attachment and followed the instructions but still don’t get the desired style. I was hoping for a bit of volume and cutting my time to style in half, but it didn’t happen.

Not for Curly Hair

While I'm sure this works for those with straight hair, it definitely does not work on curly hair. It left my hair frizzy from the high heat, even using it on the lowest heat setting was too high for my curly hair. It also made my hair very "poofy". I should have listened to the curly girl reviews on youtube.

so happy i bought it. it’s so worth the money when you think of all the salon trips your saving yourself. takes a little getting used to but watch some tiktok videos and tutorials and you should be good. GET YOUR HANDS ON THIS!!!!
