Love My New Airwrap

I love the Dyson Airwrap. It is so easy to get curls. I have not figured out the other attachments yet. I wish the long barrels came standard with the product instead of the useless short ones. I have medium length thick hair the standard barrels could not handle my locks. Now I have purchased the long barrels and they don't fit into the presentation box or the travel pouch.

There is a learning curve here for sure but once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy to use and leaves my hair looking great!

My husband bought me this styler unit for Christmas (he was aware of my hair problems), and I'm in awe of the Dyson Airwrap Styler. My hair is not silky nor lushes, it's frizzy, can't decide if it's curly or wavy the only way I can tame is if I wear mousse and tones of hair product (leaving conditioner, frizz control, volumizer, diffuser, shine serum). I have to wash my hair every day and style it, the result of wearing too many hair products. I will say it took me a good month of practice to learn how to best use the tools with my hair type. The only hair products I use now are a frizz control, and leave-in conditioner (I live in a very humid environment not good for my hair type). It takes me 15 to 20 minutes to blowout my hair and about 30 minutes if I want beach waves. It has cut down the time I use to spend on my hair in more than half. I'm able to wash my hair every two days (much healthier for my hair). it leaves my hair soft lushes and shine, I get tons of compliments. I'm a mom of two girls, 3 years old, and 4 months old husband is deployed, time is of the essence and the Dyson Airwrap Styler gives me a salon look in 30 minutes or less. I don't have to choose between doing my hair or my makeup now I have time to glam myself up.

Thick Hair- like really thick

So, I've always had about double the amount of hair most people would consider thick. It is not great. It's dry, wavy in parts, curly in others and it's hard to style and I mostly wore it in a low ponytail and gave up because it would take so much time and effort . But this thing has made a huge difference. I can style my crazy thick hair in about 35 minutes from wet to dry. I feel so pretty now :). This was worth. every. penny. I am so glad I took a leap of faith and spent the money. It's an investment in myself.

Worth the money

I purchased this a month ago refurbished. I have wavy thinning hair and was getting expensive keratin treatments or using flat iron daily. This dries my hair quickly with less heat. I use the brush attachment primarily. I no longer need flat iron as I can do touch ups with the brush. It will pay for itself as I will no longer need keratin treatments and my hair already looks healthier. My hair stylist tried to talk me out of getting this product now I understand why... less money for her.

Great concept just not there yet!

I got the dyson airwrap for my birthday. Overall, the concept is great. It’s fast (30-40 minutes) and you only need one hair tool. The con of this hair tool is that it does not work on hair types that are coarse mixed with fine. It’s made the root of my hair way to frizzy. Since my hair was getting frizzy, I referred back to YouTube and watched a ton more video (bought products) and it continues to be frizzy, which I normally can tamed besides on a Rainey day. I’ll buy this product again in the future because once again it has a great concept and could be really amazing just not completely their for hair types that are fine.
