Great for AF children!

My 10 year old daughter has long 4b hair to the middle of her back. I am not skilled at using both hands to blow dry and brush as a stylist, I have to do dry and stretch the hair in two stages. Since COVID-19 left salons closed, we returned to our 4+ hour routine that left both of us exhausted. After seeing multiple tutorials I was convinced the Dyson Airwrap would help our wash day routine. Wow!!!! Amazing results!!! Our wash day is no longer an entire day, only 1 hour TOTAL!!! I practiced on one of her dolls until I got the feel of it about 15 minutes. The firm smoothing brush attachment worked best for her 4b hair. It detangled, dried, and straightened her hair all at the same time. The heat was gentle on her nape and ears. Her hair had a good sheen and was not stiff to the touch. This is a great styling option for black children with long hair.

Could be better

It could be better for the price. Heavier than expected and difficult to get hair to wrap around for the curl piece.

As someone who is not good @ doing hair .... i was skeptical about the cost of this product justifying the outcome. Let me tell you was i wrong!!!!! IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEM SOME!!!! My shoulder length fine hair has never looked more stunning and voluminous. This is the best, quickest and more versatile hair tool i have ever used! 100% recommend ... just buy it

Learning curve but ....

So I was a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out the best way to use this thing that would dry and curl my hair without all of the heat damage. But....give it a try, multiple times in fact. It does take a few times to learn where to hold your hair and such but once you get the hang of it...man oh man...there is nothing holding your curls back now. Besides absolutely loving the curls that I get I can not get over how soft my hair is. Also, I was never able to have day 2 let alone day 3 hair... well today, I’m on day 4! Yes, day 4! I am in love!

Best Hairstyling Tool Ever!

I ordered this a couple of weeks ago after trying my daughter's. I WAS SOLD, the very first time using it. It dries and styles hair so quickly and easily and the style holds all day long, even with minimal hairspray! I have gotten so many compliments since using my Dyson. My hair looks and feels healthy and shiny! I honestly will never use another product again. I've been given the gift of time (because it's so fast) and style! I highly recommend this product. HIGHLY!

Great concept /failed results!

Easy to use once I got h the process down, but unfortunately it did not hold a curl well & I have naturally wavy hair that hold a curl for days from a flat iron curling process. Returning product. Way overrated for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If your experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls.
